A Towering Monument To Hubris Joins New Conquest Pre-Orders
January 22, 2026 by brennon
Some great new miniatures are available for those who want to dive into Conquest, covering the Spires, Yoroni and Weaver Courts. We'll start with another towering Founder's Exclusive 35mm scale miniature in the form of "Hubris" from the folks at Para Bellum Games.
"Hubris" Founder's Exclusive // Conquest
This is another absolutely stunning miniature sculpted by the talented hand of Michael Kontraros. It takes the form of a Lineage Highborne, which can be used to lead your Avatara and Sentinels into the heart of the fighting or alongside a Leonine Avatara if you prefer. The set comes with an alternative head and weapon for you to choose from, turning this into quite the gorgeous addition to a Conquest collection.
"Hubris" Founder's Exclusive // Conquest
Here's some more of the background on this new addition to the ranks of the Spires...
"Pride has ever been the flaw of the Spires and their rulers. But few manifestations of this pride can match the sheer magnitude of the arrogance required to commission a set of Avatara husks designed to be ‘dragon hunters’. The sheer hubris of their actions was revealed after the appearance of the elder Dragons and the immediate capitulation of the Spires in light of their overwhelming superiority. The few suits that survived that cataclysmic vault still dwell within the vaults and Arks of the Lineages and from time to time, a hoary elder seeks to teach the young upstarts a lesson, harnessing power once meant for hunting Dragons to punish the insolent."
As with the other Founder's Edition miniatures, this comes from a numbered run of just 990. Once they're gone, they're gone, so if you're someone who wants to pick this miniature up, you should get your pre-orders in. I think it's gorgeous and a great representation of the art and the design of the Spires in miniature form. I wish the rest of the original line looked as good as this!
Yoroni Scamps
As well as the towering miniature for "Hubris", you will also be able to get some reinforcements for the Yoroni. Here are the Shikigami.
Shikigami // Conquest
The Shikigami are used as part of the Yoroni as a cost-effective screening regiment (maybe don't put that in their job description). This allows your other elite units to manoeuvre around them, getting into the right place to unleash volleys of ranged attacks or the perfect charge.
Shikigami - Details // Conquest
The miniatures look brilliant. They are giving me intense Ghibli vibes, especially the masked fellows in the middle. As the lore for Shikigami describes, these are remnants of the power of the Yoroni, making up for their lack of skill with "sheer boundless exuberance". I think this will be an excellent set of miniatures to paint.
Weaver Courts Creations
If you'd prefer to see what you can add to the Weaver Courts, then you can also get your hands on the Morrowen for them.
Morrowen // Conquest
The Morrowen are entities within the Weaver Courts who have been shunned because of their insectoid minds. That doesn't stop them being able to channel the power of Spring and using this to make them an anvil, which can be used to hold the enemy in place before the rest of your force can rush in and close the trap.
The miniatures are notably uncanny in their feel. I love how strange the Weaver Courts miniatures end up being. It makes them a fascinating painting challenge, that's for sure.
Morrowen - Details // Conquest
Because of their insectoid look, you could either go for a paint scheme like the one that you see here or you could engage the use of flip paints to get that beetle look to the miniatures. They are certainly a fascinating addition to the ranks of the Weaver Courts.
What do you make of the new additions to the Conquest range from Para Bellum Games? They seem to be a fountain of endless creativity when it comes to their miniatures and this suite of pre-orders is no different.

The Yoroni, option looks more like old final fantasy enemies than Ghibli.
Very true – you could imagine them bobbing about
