Corvus Belli has started taking pre-orders for the mighty forces of Mounthaven. The Dwarves are finally making their way into the Fantasy world of Lindwurm and the Warcrow wargame. Check out the new Action Pack and more below.

Olga, Princess of Mounthaven // Warcrow

The Mounthaven army stands as a byword for resilience and the ability to hold firm on the battlefield. Discipline, unwavering willpower and strategy are at the core of the Mounthaven force and their Action Pack is made up of some excellent miniatures that represent that. One of the leaders of this force is  the mighty Olga, Princess of Mountain. It's great to see that she's rocking the facial hair.

Another of the character figures from within the set is the Keeper of the Sacred Fire.

I absolutely love the armour designs for the Mounthaven forces. It's so incredibly distinctly Dwarven but with a few bits here and there that work in the vibe of Warcrow and the Fantasy world-building by Corvus Belli.

This force also contains Hrodreiks, Thirteenth Executor of the Master Plan (not pictured) and the Folder, turning their skills and artistry to the pursuit of war. I love the storytelling in the Folder, seeing her little creation come to life in the other hand and manifest into the spirit bear.

As the trailer mentions, this set forms the backbone of your Mounthaven force and you can see that here with the addition of the Mounthaven Sergeant & Militia. The geometric shapes once again showcase the Dwarven aesthetic really nicely and immediately lock you into their vibe. I also like that you've still got a good mix of both male and female miniatures as part of this force.

You also have the more elite Raiders as part of this collection, armed with a pair of axes, dropping the shields and instead embracing an up close and personal frenzy of attacks. The facial details look brilliant on these miniatures and the studio paint jobs are doing a really good job of making this range look like one I should be investing in. Damn it.

Hearthguard Reinforcements

The Hearthguards are Dwarven warfare made manifest. They carry the traditional axe and shield of the forces of Mounthaven and act as the last line of defence within the depths of the Dwarven strongholds. Their martial skill is unrivalled and with the Last War beginning across Lindwurm, they have been unleashed from their shackles and now join Mounthaven's offensive strikes against their enemies.

The set comes with a Hearthguard Sergeant and a set of three Hearthguards. Much like with the rest of the Mounthaven collection, there is a great mix of male and female fighters giving you plenty of representation on the battlefield! Love it.
