Come and join us for another delve into the Projects to find the best of the best from the last week or so. We're going to be getting stuck into lots of great looking miniature wargaming painting and hobbying this week...

Community Spotlight: Chaos Dwarfs, Greater Daemons & Furry Friends!

...make sure to always let us know what YOU have been working on and share it across the site.

Chaos Dwarf Army by teddymademedoit

We start out with a look at an older project which has recently been updated with a painting tutorial showing off how to paint that holy grail or white armour that is also dirty!

Chaos Dwarfs #1 by teddymademedoit

This collection of miniatures are some of the ace Forge World Chaos Dwarfs who might just find their way onto a tabletop or two for the likes of Warhammer Fantasy Battles or something from The Mortal Realms. The miniatures here have been painted up exceptionally well and I love all the dirt and grime that has been worked into their scheme.

Chaos Dwarfs #2 by teddymademedoit

As I say, this is a bit of a revisitation of an older project in terms of its updates but I thought it was well worth checking out consider the work that had gone into the tutorial for this. It's very hard to make things look dirty without screwing things up, so I tip my hat to teddymademedoit for having the guts to do it!

I like all of the little detail here too with the selection of glowing runes, flaming weapons and those chaos sigils which have been placed on their armour.

Project Greater Daemon by ProbablyPlayingToySoldiers

Next up, we have some exceptionally mighty monsters with Project Greater Daemon by ProbablyPlayingToySoldiers. Each of the Greater Daemons has been finished off recently which brings together quite the brutal and deadly rogue's gallery.

Warhammer Greater Daemons #1 by ProbablyPlayingToySoldiers

Each of them has a dedicated spot within the project where ProbablyPlayingToySoldiers has been working away on each of them to look unique and different. It's great seeing the different colour schemes at play here and how each of them has been crafted to embody their god.

If you're interested in getting a better look at each of these daemons then you can check out two of my favourites below. I love this mighty Great Unclean One...

...and the new and improved Keeper Of Secrets who is striding forward into battle to do battle with those that they deem worthy.

Warhammer Greater Daemons #3 by ProbablyPlayingToySoldiers

There is a bunch of detail worked into this collection of miniatures and I really like the basing that has been chosen for these miniatures too. The bright and poppy looking terrain works very well alongside the paint schemes for each of them. It is making me want to make a proper daemon army!

Burrows & Badgers Warband by lonkelo

Last but not least, we have something which isn't quite as grimdark. Here are some of lonkelo's Burrows & Badgers miniatures which immediately caught my eye from our Projects system.

Burrows & Badgers #1 by lonkelo

What I liked about these miniatures it the wood finish to the bases, or at least the appearance of it, and then that neat and clean paint scheme which has been used across the miniatures. There is a brightness to the miniatures which is always good to see whilst also feeling like it fits within the Fantasy world Oathsworn created.

Burrows & Badgers #2 by lonkelo

My favourite miniature is the one above, the Adder Mage. I love the way that the staff has come out and I think the scales look awesome. The detail in the eye is also worth picking out as it could very easily have just been left alone but I think it adds intelligence to the miniature.

Burrows & Badgers #3 by lonkelo

This is another lovely collection which shows off what fun you can have with the Burrows & Badgers range. It is good seeing so many different ways of painting the same miniatures and I am very tempted to dive in and pick up more miniatures to paint myself now too!
