The Kingpin Of Dunkeldorf by aurorainbag

We start off this week with some excellent characters from the world of Dunkeldorf. The new Kickstarter campaign is now running from King Games for The Kingpin Of Dunkeldorf and aurorainbag has recently been painting up some of the new characters.

The Kingpin Of Dunkeldorf #1 by aurorainbag

aurorainbag has done great work on these characters in the past and this time around things are no different. The characters have come together really nicely and I love all the work that has gone into making each of the characters pop. I love the paint schemes on these and those custom bases too!

There is much more for you to check out over on the project link above but this gives you a good idea of how these miniatures look when they've got a coat of paint on them. I was able to have a look at some of the metal figures recently from this campaign and they look great. But, it's always nice to see finished miniatures.

If you're into the likes of Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play then I would recommend checking out this collection as they are perfect as player characters and NPCs for The Old World.

Thunderwolf Cavalry by dane001

Next up, we've got a new set of miniatures that have been kitbashed for a custom Space Wolf army. dane001 worked on a new set of Primaris Thunderwolf Cavalry and I really liked how they turned out.

There is a more in-depth look at the process of making these miniatures over on the project link above but this shows off how they came together. The basis for the bodies comes from the original Shadespire warband devoted to Khorne and then a few Space Wolf options have been tagged on here and there.

This is how they looked once they had been cleaned up and painted by dane001.

The final look is great and I like that some extra bits were added here and there to cover the Chaos markings. I think the final look for them is great and it really lends itself to the big, brawny Viking look of these space vikings. I also think the work on the bases here and those wolves is great.

If you want to see how this army came together in its entirety then you can have a peek at the project link. There are videos and more covering the way this army was built up over the past few months.

Warcry Warbands by horus500

Last but not least, we're sticking with Warhammer. horus500 has been working away on a bunch of miniatures for use in the world of Warcry. I love the painting of these new warbands which were available as part of the second "boxed game" for Warcry.

Warcry Warbands #1 by horus500

The painting on these two warbands was pretty fantastic and I just had to shout it out. I love the way the Khainite Shadowstalkers have come together with those deep purples, blues and greys. The little flashes of metallics here and there make them feel cruel.

I get the same from this awesome looking set of fire-worshipping Chaos Cultists who have made themselves at home in the realm of Aqshy. Look at that amazing blending for the fire.

Recent additions to the project have introduced a few new warbands too. Warcry does seem like a great way to start playing games in The Mortal Realms of Age Of Sigmar, especially since it only requires a handful of miniatures. Deffo go and check out the miniatures that have made it to the painting table recently.
