Drop Tactics – How To Use The UCM Katana

In this episode of Drop Tactics we take a look at how UCM players can effectively use the Katana Light Tanks in Dropzone Commander, a lighter alternative to the Sabre Battle Tanks.
This tank type, which can be used as a flanking units or armoured support, has great anti-tank capabilities and can deal impressive damage to buildings. We demonstrate how they square up against different enemy types including the PHR's intimidating Hades.

Like the video, haven’t played any unit from the second book because I’m just starting to play, but I like the Katanas more now, can see the potential.
PS: love the end of the video “Against the Hades they are not so good” xD Noooo, really? jajajaja Maybe a little overkill comparation xD
Still getting myself some of these. Like the look of them and the two shoots at energy 9 makes them rather nice i think but must admit i had never thought about driving them on from the board edge would save some points for another pick 🙂
Nice to have another option but as ever, choose whether to use, how to use and when to use. They also look quite impressive with two big guns 🙂
Really like these Drop Tactics videos. And really like the Katanas – bought some based on how cool they look, so pleased to know they’ll have a real use on the battlefield!

I wonder if anyone can help me. I seem to recall a video similar to this one that showed the mechanics of how fast movers work in dzc. I thought it was on bow but i cant seem to find it. Does anyone remember it and have a link to it. Its not the flyers tactica, it was more about explaining the mechanics. Thanks in advance.

These drop tactics videos are great, they really help when trying to decide what models to add to your collection. It also helps when the model looks fantastic.
