It’s the XLBS Show! Happy Sunday fellow CoG.
I’ve been rounding up a spiral edition of WARMASTER and procuring a Dwarf army. As @brennon is not the only one to have missed out on Warmaster. Now I find myself looking for a second army as my wife has decided that these new ‘Super Tiny Fighting Men’s are really cute and she’d like an army for herself.
Happy Sunday!!!
Let’s get stuck into some culty goodness.
It’s nice to relax here at home on OTT rather than that other platform where I watch the Friday show. 😀 😀 😀
Happy Sunday !! and third … It’s been ages since I was so near the top . **thinks** I am coming back baby
Happy Sunday!
The slow climb out of my hobby funk continues with more of my WW3:TY Soviet army, and 15x T-64B tanks. Hopefully a large infantry Motor Company (plus additional platoon) to paint soon won’t undo the progress!
Stick with it mate … It’s a climb worth taking (slow or not)
It’s the prospect of a chain paint… although being 15mm I’ll let the washes do much of the work! So long as there are a few flashes of red insignia to give then that Russian feel.
Triple points, my arse! If I’d been paying attention when you set it it’d have been solved before you put the slide away.
Happy Sunday…
Morning all and a happy weekend folks 🙂
Happy Sunday!
Happy Sunday to all.
Good morning, everyone.
Later today we’ll be featuring a live game on a live stream … recreating history’s first “true” tank battle. This was the Battle of Hannut, starting on May 12, 1940, part of the shattering German Blitzkrieg of the West.
As General Hoepner’s XVI Motorized Corps spearheaded German 6th Army’s drive into northern Belgium, Belgian resistance was hopelessly outmatched and crumbled before them. Following mobilization and response plans, French mechanized units entered western Belgium, intending to meet up with the retreating Belgians and combine to form a unified line of resistance against the Germans.
But the Belgians in this sector weren’t falling back. They’d been overrun. So the French, having not met the Belgians falling back, had no idea their Cavalry Corps (2nd and 3rd Division Légère Mécanique) was about to collide with Hopener’s XVI Motorized Corps, namely 3rd and 4th Panzer Divisions.
In a wild melee that largely surprised both sides, Prioux’s French Cavalry Corps and Hoepner’s XVI Motorized Corps rammed full speed into each other in what would become the Battle of Hannut, running from May 12-13, 1940. In all, almost 1,000 AFVs (tanks, armored cars, halftracks) would be engaged between the four opposing divisions, making this the first time actual tank formations would square off in open combat.
JOIN US TODAY as I recreate part of the engagement’s first day with YOU, members of the OnTableTop and Sitrep Podcast community, live on stream, at 5:15PM UK time today (12:15 East US).

I’ll be tuning in for some of that ??x?? action! ??
It’s always good to have a game running in the background.
Awesome, @templar007. We hope to be live in about 20 minutes!
Ben faces criticism about not attempting OSL by getting ASL (actual source lighting) on the light sabre. ?
Great to see Brian. Met him during my first Salute. (evidence on discord sanctuary page) Became a fan during his Warlord Wednesdays video series doing loads of Bolt Action bits. The scenic base bluestuff press molding video was an eye opener and some of his terrain was jaw droppingly good.
Such a fun show. The banter was great and great Golden Button winners. Thanks all.
Constructicons for the win…
Very funny show
Very disappointed that Brian didn’t bring out his knights of Taranis……. Especially as he did a shout out to Lee who is one of the leaders of our noble order….
Happy Sunday All ?
Happy Sunday all!
Warren’s story with the electricity reminds me of this… https://youtu.be/FwBjLCAodLw?t=44
That beginning part of this video ???? great start to Sunday
Pleasantly surprised, didn’t expect those two to be on XLBS when I tuned in this week, Templars Crusade and Skippy the Jedi Droid!! Great to see Temps (calling him Brian has always felt weird to me) in video form, miss his YouTube, was lucky enough to meet him once upon a time at a Gamesday, can’t remember how long ago it was but it was the year forgeworld were showing off Lorgar. Love seeing the light up models from both Lloyd and Ben, I am curious as to how the jawas were done, are they hollowed out resin with everything painted but the eyes?
3D printed and wired up by young Chris @blinky465
That’s basically it – I chopped their heads off in Blender and hollowed them out, then made holes for the eyes (so they actually sparkle when you look into them). I put a channel in the body for the wires and printed each jawa in two halves. Stick a 1206 LED inside the head (with wires soldered on) and run the wires down the body and out of the feet. On the underside of the base, I made a PCB with a darlington transistor to act as a touch-sensitive switch so when you press the metal probes on the outer rim of the base, the eyes light up.
It’s why the guys keep talking about licking them – if you have very dry skin, the touch-to-activate switch doesn’t always work; but does if you lick your finger!
Listening to @warzan talk about his hobby is like watching Boris give a speech on a Sunday night, confusing, off topic and at the end you realize he’s talked about fuck all for the last 30 minutes lol
I’m a slightly less callous cunt though 😉 (and that’s why hes successful and I’m not lol)
I love the skills of being able to drag out a 5 min item to 30 lol….
Lol that’s a beginning to remember.
Ha the exclusive is we can’t see/hear the exclusive except it happening in Shrieks swamp?
Happy XLBS Folks
i’ve missed Brian. we need more of him on OTT!! loved his youtube channel. OTT should hire him, just think, an extra person for warren to get to do his hobby for him, take the strain off John a little 😉
Tis but a scratch warzan.
Happy Sunday…. who’s Brian…. PRIAN! The life of PRIIIAN!
Got a coffee, it’s Sunday… happy times.
Turtles is warzan back to the squaty potty?
I’m never eating ice cream again… but given my waist line, that is a good thing!
One night in detol is that the follow up song for one night in Bangkok @avernos ?
I’m 90 seconds in and I’ll level with you, the show may have peaked! 😉
Brian. Wow. I take it back!
A brilliant show guy’s nearly chocked on my lunch a few time’s this week.
Happy Sunday all!
On the subject of Transformers: Brother @lloyd you may want to know that the “currently US exclusive” line of Wizkids “Transformers Themed Deep Cuts™ Unpainted Miniatures” ( https://wizkids.com/transformers-deep-cuts-unpainted-miniatures/ ) will come to the EU “soonish”. I’ve emailed the German Wizkids distributor Blackfire and got a reply from “Head of Purchase”.
“Momentan führt offiziell kein Laden in Europa diese Produktreihe im Programm, da sie nur exklusiv für US-Markt sind. Allerdings, es wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass diese Produkte auch bald in Europa verfügbar sein werden.”
“At the moment there is no official store in Europe offering this product range, as they are only exclusive for the US market. However, I have been informed that these products will be available in Europe soon.”
Blooming great show, I wet yourself laughing, going to change my trousers
Great show guys. Really liked the WW1 golden button work. Very cool!
Someone check on @lloyd I think quarantine has broken him.
Happy sunday fellow CoGs!
Man, that opening!
HAPPY SUNDAY….Lads one of the best sunday shows i have seen, an absolute joy to watch , brilliant banter, subscribed to the Templars crusade on you tube and still enjoy watching them now loved his warlord wednesday.
All I can think of right after the initial advertisement was The Human Centipede but I wonder if @lloyd was jealous of the unicorn in the video advert. Then there was shaky cam… ugh.. Cloverfield and The Bourne Identity were steadier, though with all the effort of a squatty potty exercise that might just be a side effect. However, after hearing @warzan shoved in the largest lens he could makes me think that the deepest glimpse into the void might be had. Now about White Wolf and being the characters, I believe that Brian as a troll in Changeling might work. Now about the lighting.. again with Inner Space.. deep space… where light seldom shines. @brennon Be careful with Obi Wan. We all know what the film “It” taught us about following the light.. or was that “Finding Nemo”? Good luck @avernos as your clean out seems to be more effective than most any products on the market. Ooof, following the light from whatever unholy hole that demon happened to have at the end of the episode makes for yet another XLBS wrapped up, or wiped away(?), that I am glad to bear down and get through.
Happy Sunday folks, that was a brilliant episode to watch, had me laughing. Thanks very much.
I don’t know what that was at the beggining!?… but man you guys watch some weird crap!
Now we’re putting literal Unicorn #$%@ in front of the XLBS? lol
Despite that. It was great to see Brian on the show, he can take and dish it out with the best of ya.
borring first 30 minutes but what a great show after (wink).
@warzan nothing new in the squadi-potty me and @avernos been forced to that for years 😉
When dealing with your small human versions
I think this might have been the BEST EPISODE E-V-E-R!!
