Happy Sunday!
It’s the XLBS Show…………..Happy Sunday fellow CoGs!
***Baahubali!***
Cool looking movie………I like the first comment on YouTube about this movie, “When two Indian restaurants open on the same street.” 🙂 I didn’t create that, I’m just reporting it….
The movies do look interesting…..(me thinks NOT historically accurate)
@warzan about your garden tires, if you stack three of those horizontally you could then place a 6’x4′ piece of plywood on it and have your outdoor gaming table. When not in use, you would have it mostly filled with sand. An elevated sandbox for the kids.
As far as Sand tables go, we built one in a buddys basement back in the late 80’s and played BattleTech on it. We used very cheap Hairspray to hold the sand into shapes.
@lloyd it’s easy to drop down the rabbit hole doing internet research. But I agree with @avernos, those Russian beards are very awesome! But I’m a little bias to great beards, having one currently that makes me pass easily for Santa Clause!
Ohhhh, ‘Clash of Spears’ has rules for Samurai. I need to download those. Be right back………
Thanks for sharing your Scooby Doo game https://www.beastsofwar.com/project/1215371/ @warzan I don’t have any young kids around but I am a Scooby Doo fan from my childhood day.
@brennon I do have those Hasslefree Miniatures (Scooby style) in both normal and Apocalypse versions. Very nice! I bought them for an RPG Scooby Doo game I’ve been working on.
HAHAHA love the Scooby Outro (not sure thats a word)……. Fred has a point! 🙂
Would be good to see those Scooby-Doo miniatures in action 🙂
I see Sunday has rolled around once more.
Both great for XLBS but also the dreadful knowledge that tomorrow is Monday.
Happy Sunday!
Watched both of the movies when they first hit Netflix . Excellent stuff
Baahubali!!! and HAPPY SUNDAY!!!
Those Scooby dials with different sized sections for each monster – what a fantastic idea! Nice one, @warzan. Really nice touch!
That’s a great start to the the XLBS Guy’s.
A man on the tinternet said it’s real war.
The baddy King looks like a Mum-Ra relative?
I was watching the Japanese tsunami programme last night an I noticed they had tyres under the seesaw ends in the kids park you could try that @warzan ?
Ooh watch the Gaffer is keep an eye on you lot.? Lol
You can call the project’s the battle of Covid @warzan ?
The the 40k project couldn’t the 3rd person create the project and I’m assuming both @warzan and @lloyd have access privileges then they could post on it as well keeping the whole project in the same place
probably but it’s something a lot of OTTers have asked about pretty much since the projects started so it would be nice to have it available
Happy Sunday All ?
Lloyd the battle scribe app on apple is more straight forward than the Microsoft programme tRy that.
I’m just going to have to do it, just going to have to out myself . . . I’m a fan of Scrappy Doo.
It will be a bit of a shame getting the kid’s into Scooby Doo just in time for some gormless prat wanting it banned for something Guy’s.
That dope Japanese army could also work for the 9th Age I think, and yo I tried that Age of Samurai, Battle for Japan was pants, so many people waving katanas around when they should have had actual weapons like Naginata, or spears, also what was with the hippy hair cuts?
Lol the scarf is to tie up Daphne when they piss off ever episode? Guy’s a fab show.
I hesitate to mention this on the site that’s not one but TWO wh40k stores but @lloyd take a look at Wahapedia
(But also yes just build what you like and work out what it is later.)
I use Hmbrol weathering powders to colour my sand. It gives me a rich brown colour.
yup they’re just pigments
@warzan, that’s fantastic, love it! Could you detail how did you do the cards again, please?
Vampire Ghost… Was he a vampire that became a ghost or a ghost who became a vampire?
Happy Sunday! It was lovely to have lady Freehand on the Weekender Friday. I was watching on my best behavior. I like how we are back to PG misogyny today. Great game @warzan absolutely brilliant. You are a game designer to the bone. Oh and indeed, F Scrappy doo!
We never mention the Scrappy one 😉
I think CMON’s Scooby Doo game could learn a thing or two from this one.
Happy Sunday… close to two hours? I need more coffee!
02:20 I love the smell of napalm on the morning!
05:00 It’s like a bad accident. Unable to look away…
07:00 Baahubali – available on Netflix UK… not here in good old Germany… pretty undecided if I’m happy or sad about this XD
14:00 Builders crack competition…
24:00 Sandpeople are real?
29:00 Lloyd jumping in…. I have a bad feeling about this XD
31:00 Folderpanic!
41:00 all these quick pic flicking from sculls to bones… gives me a headache…
51:00 GorkaMorka!
59:00 Just build what you like? What heresy is this?! oO
1:03:00 Community giving back? That’s an idea…
1:18:00 Stan Against Evil – sounds nice… need to find that.
1:24:00 “made up rules on the go” in other words: @warzan was cheating on his children! 😉
1:33:00 weird cartoon…
1:50:00 Scrappy-Doo …. I ‘member that…
1:56:30 Twinkies go bad the second you open the pack
1:59:30 Express your true self? You cunts! 😉 Nice show… now make MORE!
Thank you very much for the Golden Button I am genuinely shocked by what you said and being chosen.
Great show too
For your sand table, paint the bottom of it blue before you pour in the sand. That way you can create rivers by parting the sand. Also make sure you keep a lid on it to avoid the inevitable cat poop. 🙂
Thanks for another great show. I didn’t get to watch until the end of my Sunday so one can imagine my surprise and delight to receive a Golden Button. Always honored to be among such inspiring projects.
@avernos All is right in the world as long as you can compare Scooby Doo characters to Trainspotting’s. Choose Dice!
@lloyd, I’d push for you to get your own Golden Button if you would share some of these projects with the rest of us. I find them intriguing.
@warzan I fall more in love with your Scooby Doo game every time you show us more. Serious Dad points there.
@brennon Even better than the button were the kind words. Many thanks, you inspire as well.
Baahubali… Available in Oz! Looks like an epic, thanks for the recommendation ?
I recently finished watching Ash Vs Evil Dead, so Stan Against Evil should do me nicely. Cheers.
I do believe it was Lloyd and myself that came up with Saga and a bit of magic… that was a disappointing game
Aaaargh, I’m a week behind! I really need to step up my game watching these vids!
Anyway, funny you raised the point about the golden buttons: I was just thinking that Lloyd should get one for the awesome stuff he’s been doing. Perhaps also as an extra motivation to finish a project? 😉
Edit: and yes, the Scooby Doo game looks really cool! I used to love that show and @warzan ‘s game seems to capture the vibes of it!
