Long out of print, this Avalon Hill hex and counter game was my introduction to wargaming. I’m very nostalgic for this game that I first met in the 1970s.

Set on the Eastern front of WW2 it’s a highly detailed tactical game of armored combat with each unit representing a Soviet company or German platoon.

With about a dozen scenarios, maybe more, most scenarios are asymmetrical with differing victory conditions for each side.

Still available via eBay and other sites, it’s well worth a look for those that want an important piece of gaming history or nostalgic fan boys like me.
