Corvus Belli has dropped another sneak peek at what's ahead for their releases in December for Infinity. Here we have the Dakini Tactbots alongside their Deva Functionary.

Dakini TactBots - Infinity

Here's some of the background on this new unit for ALEPH...

"The Tactical Remotes of the Special Situations Section have been designed to complete a wide variety of combat functions, integrating themselves into the main core of ALEPH’s intervention force.

Although the decision to go with semi-autonomous remote units as basic elements of a combat force may seem surprising, the AI’s easy access to advances and state of the art technologies must not be forgotten. ALEPH’s superior technological level ensures that the Tactbots’ combat programming is equal to the war skills of any other soldier throughout the Sphere.

Their speed, camouflage systems, and the tactical software they have been programmed with enable them to carry out large-scale assaults or to execute more specialised counter terrorism actions. They can also be assigned to carry out both civilian and military defensive combat actions and security operations.

The ability of the Tactbots to adapt to any military task is an extremely valuable resource for the Section, but it is their total lack of fear inherent to their robotic nature that turns them into an efficient and unstoppable force.

These are the reasons why it was the Dakini, those powerful and ferocious mythological creature servants of the goddess Kali, that served to inspire and baptise ALEPH’s Remote soldiers."

The design for these is great and it really flows into the Cyberpunk/High Sci-Fi mash-up that Corvus Belli has managed to achieve with ALEPH as a faction in the world of Infinity.

Are you going to be picking these up?
