We're back with Community Spotlight as we take another look at what's new in the Hobby & Painting Forum from you folks.

We have three more recipients of the Golden Button this week and we think each of these projects is worthy of mighty praise.

Polish Airborne by yoshi

The first models we're going to be looking at are by yoshi who has done some amazing work on these Polish 1st Independent Parachute Brigade models. These are just his tests...yes, his tests!

Polish WWII Soldiers by yoshi

The process is nearly nailed down for these but I would say that as it stands these are some stunning characters. If the rest of the unit and the wider force looks like this then you have a wonderful unit to represent these brave soldiers on the tabletop.

What really caught my eye was the attention to detail on the faces, picking up the cheekbones, nose, ridges on the forehead and more to make them pop that much more. The extra effort put into the highlighting and shading of the uniform also really pushes the models up another notch on the wow-o-metre (totally a thing now).

I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the models!

Stormcast Vanguard by lenthalas

We're then stepping into the Mortal Realms and Age Of Sigmar with lenthalas. He has been working away on some Stormcast Vanguard Hunters and additional characters for his force of Order. And, as you'll see, he has done some amazing work with Non-Metallic Metals.

Stormcast Vanguard #2 by lenthalas

The armour pops, as does the blue accent colour. It's neat seeing the familiar theme of the Stormcast Eternals done in a new way. Some tried and tested techniques have been at work here including some brilliant use of drybrushing, highlighting, shading especially and much more to bring these models to life. A stunning project.

It looks even better when you see the leader model we showed off last week on the Hobby Hangout.

Stormcast Vanguard #1 by lenthalas

The subtle blue and white shift on the angelic wings and the way that bird has come together is truly awesome and shows off just how awesome the Stormcast Eternals can look if you put some effort into the painting. I hope to see lenthalas doing some more work as we look towards the 2nd Edition of Age Of Sigmar.

Spitfire by commodorerob

Last but not least we turn to a project we should have given props (hah) to last week. Here we have this awesome finished Spitfire by commodorerob who has done some sterling work getting these models finished for his games of Blood Red Skies.

Spitfire #1 by commodorerob

commodorerob has been a painting machine over the last few months and has been doing some brilliant work on Guild Ball models as well but I wanted to once again highlight some great painting on these very tiny planes! They look even cooler when you turn them over and see the underside.

Spitfire #2 by commodorerob

I get quite enthusiastic when I see awesome detail work like that, with each of the panels picked out nicely whilst still managing to retain the overall colour scheme of the piece. A wonderful piece of work and I can't wait to see what you do with the German force.
