A New King Tiger Rolls Onto The Battlefield Of Bolt Action

Warlord Games have added another version of the King Tiger to their webstore which will be a handy addition to any German army in Bolt Action. This tweaked tank comes with a Porsche Turret and there are also some alternatives for a Henchel bodied version too...
"Two turret designs were used in production. Both were designed and made by Krupp and, after Henchel were awarded the contract, the prototype Porsche parts were given to other projects.
As the first Henchel chassis rolled off the production line the only available turret was the one destined originally for the rejected Porsche project."
"Fifty Porsche turrets were mounted to Henschel’s hull and used in action until the Henchel turret variant production came online to replace it."
You can see some of the other designs and learn more about the tanks over on the Warlord Games website. The Tiger Tank is certainly a fearsome vehicle to face across the battlefield and it is also an awesome looking tank!

This has always been my favorite of the King Tigers! I guess I’ll need a platoon of them. Well I could just run one in the platoon with the rest standard Kings.

Is the resin easier or more difficult to paint? i find colours tend to run on metal.
Does the Henschel have a bumper sticker saying ” My other turret is a Porsche” ?
To paint – 1st wash in soapy warm water ( dish liquid ) .Scrub model with soft tooth brush to remove mold release agent . Rinse and let air dry . I do this to resin , plastic and metal kits . 2nd – give model a base coat suitable to the paints you like ( enamels , acrylics or oils ) . Let dry over 24 hrs . 3rd – Paint

I also wish this was plastic. I was all ready to order one immediately, but I hate metal and resin.
Hideous performance in European forests, prone to running out of fuel, hideously expensive in points and I collect Brits.
