An Amazon War Queen Takes Command In Lucid Eye’s Ziggurat

Lucid Eye is bulking up their Ziggurat range with all sorts of new miniatures but the main focus for today is on the awesome Amazon War Queen who is now ready to lead her warrior women into battle.

Clad in awesome looking armour and with a deadly looking blade in hand she seems like a tried and tested warrior who has seen quite a few conflicts. She's a bit different from the classic Amazon look you'd normally expect but that's a good thing in my book. I like the historical influences that have been worked into the model and I think she'll be a bloomin' joy to paint.

Hold The Line

As well as the new War Queen we have a few new troops too. Here we have the second set of Bronze Phalanx Of Heros models.

This faction very much uses a traditional Greek aesthetic and whilst we've seen two sets already of these soldiers with spears held high it would be good to maybe see some with their spears at the ready, huddled behind their shields as if in the midst of combat.

The only other release that I can see for Heros is a character Heros Of Ares, so I'm sure we're going to get a few more options in the coming months.
