One Deck Dungeon had a lot of fans, but don't you worry - One Deck Galaxy is no reskin. Although the game may have similar mechanics, the game has been described as more of a 'cousin'. With new strategic planning, and utilising your dice to develop your campaign.

One Deck Galaxy // Asmadi Games

Players are setting out to the edges of the galaxy, and they are destined to repopulate their own colony before the dangers approaching. Whether it be, feeding, exploring or colonising, players much cooperatively use their deck to build their civilisation in space.

When players start the game, they will be prompted to choose their own footing in their new world. Picking their Homeworld, Society and Adversary to grow and invest into. By using their cards and dice, each turns the world will evolve and progress. Now players must ensure their colony is evolving in the right direction, by completing milestones and avoiding the dangers that lurk outside of their sanctuary.

When players reach the end of the game, they will be placed head-to-head with their chosen Adversary, luckily for the player, they have chosen this villain, ready to take down as the final showdown.

I am quite familiar with One Deck Dungeon as it is one of the many card games which I have on my Nintendo Switch. It is really exciting seeing another spin-off of the game, with new mechanics and interesting themes to compete against its estranged fantasy cousin - One Deck Galaxy.

If you are keen on the new concept, be sure to head on over to the Kickstarter campaign. Which has smashed its initial target and knocking through stretch goals like there is no tomorrow. The game is certainly not expensive, starting at $25, players can head into outer space and build their cooperative civilisation with ease in One Deck Galaxy.

What do you think of One Deck Dungeon? Are you excited about taking this adventure into space?
