Explore The Zone With Spectre’s New Game, Aftermath
September 26, 2025 by brennon
Spectre Miniatures just recently added a new game to their website for you to dive into. Aftermath is a brand new post-disaster tabletop skirmish game where it's as much about your survival and endurance skills as it is your talent with a firearm.
Aftermath // Spectre Miniatures
Aftermath uses a d100 dice system for your major tests, which can be focused on combat, stealth or survival. Characters have detailed stats like (Mobility, Close Combat, Ballistics, Awareness, Reflex, Intelligence, and Fatigue) which range from one to one hundred. An average person sits around forty but a hardened, veteran operator could be pushing somewhere near seventy or higher.
Turns are based on your mobility, where factors like fatigue and encumbrance come into effect. Combat is deadly, gritty and granular, with a single well-placed shot potentially ending a firefight before it has already begun. This is then turned on its head by the likes of weapon malfunctions, suppression and the collapse of morale. Even getting up close and personal is tough!
Aftermath Extraction Alpha // Spectre Miniatures
You can dive into the game world of Aftermath with the new Starter Set by Spectre, which features two Extraction Teams who have been sent into the Zone. They will have to contend with other Extraction Teams but also hazards, radiation, anomalies, hunger, exhaustion and more.
I am getting some serious Tarkov and S.T.A.L.K.E.R vibes from what we're seeing here with Aftermath and that's a very good thing indeed. Considering the pedigree that Spectre has in bleeding-edge military combat on the tabletop, it makes sense that they'd dip their toe into a game like Aftermath.
Aftermath Extraction Bravo // Spectre Miniatures
The Starter Set, available both physically and digitally, contains the Aftermath Rulebook, the two Extraction Teams you can see here, plus a selection of Objectives that you can fight over in your games. Simply set up a derelict tabletop that looks like a bomb has hit it and you'll be ready to go. I'm sure you have plenty of ruins lying around.
Objectives - Weapons Cache // Aftermath
Objectives - WMD // Aftermath
Huh, so that's where those WMDs were. If you're looking for more miniatures and terrain to bulk out your collection for Aftermath, then you can get your hands on a bunch of other sets over on the Spectre Miniatures website. Check it all out HERE.
Are you tempted by a bit of Tarkov-like wargaming on the tabletop with Aftermath?

Wait, are you telling me some madman actually came up with a 100 sided dice game system? I mean, I thought the d100 was a joke dice you brought to white elephant gift exchanges.
