Kabuki Awaken Lovecraft Nightmares on Kickstarter!

Kabuki have announced that they are planning their first foray into world of Kickstarter in order to create a new range of horrific miniatures. These are Lovecraft Nightmares!
Lovecraft Nightmares will be something of a new direction for Kabuki Models, and not just by being their first attempts at the Cthulhu Mythos. With the help of Kickstarter, Kabuki hope to create a range of prepainted urethane resin sculpts of statues and artifacts, depicting the monstrous forms of the Great Old Ones.
Prepainted models is something I did not expect Kabuki to go with. Traditionally, they have made some incredibly high quality unpainted resin sculpts, and it is this quality that makes me hopeful for the end results they come out with. Some prepainted Lovecraftian artifacts would be the perfect way to decorate your table and create an atmospheric setting for your mythos inspired games.

This being Kabuki, I just hope that the sculpts depicting the ‘monstrous forms of the Great Old Ones’ don’t wind up oddly resembling scantily clad women with improbable builds in impossible poses, though in this case I might go along with an impossible pose if it was sufficiently non-euclidean.
