Lucid Eye is turning their attention to some new miniature design in the form of plastic and their Ghost collection.

Dungeon Hireling Ghost - Lucid Eye

Lucid Eye is looking to make a new line of accessible plastic miniatures. They are named 'Ghost' because they come in a quirky snow-white material (neat!).  Their early tests have created miniatures which accept paint and glue very easily and tones and washes then made the details pop. You can see one of the models above for the Dungeon Hireling.

This could be a great step in the right direction for folks that would like a cheaper alternative to metal and also a way to pack their dungeons and tabletops with characters. With a lot of people playing more skirmish and campaign-style games, there is a need for characters (and hopefully creatures) like this.

I am very excited to see just how this plastic adventure plays out for them and hopefully, we'll see some more sneak peeks soon. This could well end up being like the Reaper Bones line-up for the UK and Europe.

What do you think of the idea?
