Battle Through A Necropolis With PWork’s New Gaming Mat

PWork Wargames have a new mat for September as they introduce us to the Necropolis, a new design which is good for those playing Sci-Fi wargames on the tabletop. Have a peek at it here!

This new mat gives you a broken and blasted ancient ruin which is dotted with little areas of vegetation allowing you to bring to life a lost and forgotten world on the tabletop. With the new Necrons coming to Warhammer 40,000, this is a pretty good match for those who want to play out scenarios of them awakening from their tomb worlds to destroy all who oppose them.

As with all of the mats from PWork Wargames, you can get them in a variety of different sizes and they come in PVC/Vinyl, Neoprene/Rubber and Cloth depending on the material that most suits you. The mats do look very cool and I think this is timed just right for what's happening in the grimdark future right now.

Do you like the look of the mat with all of the rubble covering those ancient ruins where something deadly sleeps? I like the patches of vegetation in the mix which help build on the idea that life is trying to return but the ancient ruins beneath might be keeping it from fully emerging.
