Rampage Miniatures Release Their Savage Goblin Beastmasters!
February 4, 2026 by brennon
Rampage Miniatures are back on Gamefound with a new campaign packed with 28mm Oldhammer-style Goblins. The Savage Beastmasters are riding out to kick ass and take names. Think Goblins crossed with Barbarians!
Savage Beastmasters // Rampage Miniatures
The vibe behind this range is tied directly to that golden age of 80s and 90s Fantasy. The twist here is "Frazetta-style axe-heroism", heavy metal greenskins hopped up on steroids with sabertooth tigers and more. This is led by the Savage Beastmasters themselves, mounted on the back of snarling wild cats.
Savage Beastmaster // Rampage Miniatures
This set breaks down into six Goblin Riders mounted on the back of massive sabretooth tigers. Each is unique and packed with character. You also have a command group including a musician, standard bearer and champion, plus a Shaman and two warriors to back them up.

As well as the Beastmasters riding into battle on their sabretooth tigers, you can also get a set of Primitives who are charging forward, ready to hack apart their enemies and seek out what is best in life.
Primitives // Rampage Miniatures
All of the Primitives come with axes and are ready to leap into the fighting. They have some wild hairstyles to match their wild attitudes. All of these miniatures can then be mounted on some nice hex bases from Rampage Miniatures, plus Bones Basing Bits, so you can theme this collection.
All of these miniatures, plus those from the Goblin Frenzy campaign, are available for you to snap up from the Gamefound campaign that is running right now. You have around nine days left for you to get stuck in.
Savage Beastmasters // Rampage Miniatures
All of these miniatures have been sculpted, once again, by Polina Hristova and show off some stunningly characterful Oldhammer-style figures. This is the makings of a warband for use in your wargames, or you could use them as the elite contingent of a larger Goblin force.
Are you tempted by these Golden Axe-era Goblins for your Fantasy wargames?

I like the goblins. The mounts not so much.
They are nice, in my opinion better than the GW plastic wolves. They also fit with the theme. Not for everyone I guess. I look forward to what she does next. Nice to have goblins I like that I don’t have to sculpt myself 🤣
Goblins with hair don’t look right 🤣
The sculpt quality is fantastic though
They are hairy squigs trained to cling on to a goblins head. That the GW excuse anyway 🤣
Really liking these. Love the mounts. Though I have to agree with Rayzryr about the hair – it makes the gobos look a bit like those rock stars in their 70s who insist on wearing unconvincing costume shop wigs.
like Slade
You’re showing your age now McCabe.
