Once upon a time, there was a Transformers TCG that came from Hasbro, and fans were upset to see the demise of the popular title. But do not fret Autobots - as there is a new Transformers-themed game that has been announced by Renegade Game Studios. Transformers Deck-Building Game is making its way to the tabletop starting with a brand new core set in Summer 2021.

1-5 players have the chance to take full control of the Autobots in their attempt to remove the impending threat of the Decepticons in a range of different playstyles. Whether you are looking to go ahead solo, competitively or cooperatively - the core set supports a plethora of different players ready to reengage with the robots in disguise.

Is that Bumblebee? Arcee? And most importantly Optimus Prime chilling on that box? Why yes! The characters you love most and enjoy will be featuring heavily as told by the box art, and I am looking forward to seeing their diversity in play.

Whilst assuming the role of the Autobots, players will be transforming from bot to vehicle mode, you must upgrade your bots, find relics, and pick up allies along the way to stop the Decepticons from corrupting the planet Earth once more.

There may only be the Core Set in the mix at the moment, but there are future plans of expansions in the pipeline, with the chance to take the side of the Decepticons within the Transformers universe. So much more expanding to come with a game that is sure to have a future of content created to support the fans of the franchise.

With the pre-order already live on their website. Including a free promo pack that comes side-by-side with the pre-order, which includes the iconic character Jazz to take into battle.

The Core Set will be available in August 2021, including all the different types of cards, tokens and of course the rules for everything for you to get started in the new game system.
