Footsore Miniatures previewed one of their first painted Berserker models which will be getting added to the mix for their Viking range. Take a peek...

Footsore Viking Berserker

I like this more atypical look at the Berserker. Instead of him just being a barely clothed warrior with a Dane Axe they've gone with a different look, a more wild looking warrior with sword and shield in hand. The touch of the broken shield is a nice one, and you could imagine him using it more as a weapon than anything defensive.

As well as being useful as a Berserker I think he'd be awesome as a leader figure too. He has that heroic edge to him.

Free Viking!

As well as this look ahead to Berserkers the team also have an offer for those who pick up the Age Of Vikings Supplement for SAGA from them. You can get yourself this warrior wielding a big two-handed weapon.

Footsore Viking Berserker Free #1

This fellow would be good leading the Berserkers we talked about earlier, very much within the vein of the classic look we've talked about before.

Footsore Viking Berserker Free #2

I don't know why but this fellow has made me think about some alternative ways to play SAGA on the tabletop. How about you set up some big Viking ships and have them clashing on open water? This fellow would be awesome, leaping over the side of the ship to crash land in the midst of the enemy, axe swinging around like a madman.

Would the new SAGA support that kind of scenario?
