Wargames Illustrated have a new show exclusive miniature that they will be bringing with them to this year's Salute. None other than T. E. Lawrence, a.k.a. Lawrence of Arabia.

As this model shows, Lawrence was a keen motorcyclist, owning eight Brough Superior bikes throughout his life.

It was while riding such a bike in Dorset that he unfortunately lost his life, crashing after trying to avoid two boys on bicycles.

The miniature will be given for free to anyone who spends £10 or more at the Wargames Illustrated stand, where T. E. Lawrence will also feature as the focus of their Catch the Pigeon Game.

Flash by Name, Flash by Nature

Wargames Illustrated will have plenty to look for with them. This includes copies of Armies & Legions & Hordes, the hobby guide from our own friend Dave Taylor.

They will also have their full range of Giant's in Miniature collector models, including the pre-release of a firm favourite character of mine.

That's right, it's Lord Flasheart himself. Woof!

Wargames Illustrated are making a good showing at Salute this year. The Lawrence model is a fun, characterful sculpt, showing a side of this famous figure we don't often see on the tabletop, while who can say no to the idea of including Flasheart in their army?

Are you going to stop by Wargames Illustrated at this year's Salute?
