Being a Princess within a fantastical universe cannot be what it is all cracked up to be! Where is the fun of brooding in a tower waiting to be saved by a knight in shining armour?

In the upcoming title from WizKids, the Princess has got other incentives on her mind... brains! No, not the brains of a strapping young Prince and Knight of honour and glory. The physical brains of noble knights are on the menu and the Princess is certainly not patient. In the upcoming title, Zombie Princess and the Enchanted Maze.

Zombie Princess And The Enchanted Maze // Wizkids

The light-hearted game puts players in the midst of a maze, being hunted and chased by a zombified Princess in a hunt for dinner. Players must race across tiles on the board as they roll the dice to create their path to safety. However, depending on how much you would like to pick on your opponents, players have control of the Zombie Princess too, as the game encourages a free-for-all to attack others from receiving safety and ultimately to win the game.

If a player does walk through the clutches of the Zombie Princess, the knight will become converted and join the hunt for dinner in a macabre version of tabletop Pacman! Stopping players from achieving their goal of reaching the opposite side of the map, reaching the castle and into safety.

Escaping the clutches of the Princess will require 2-5 players to control the knights and chaos surrounding the maze. Depending on how many players are engaged, the game can take anywhere from 45-60 minutes.

The game certainly does look like a lot of fun, using dice-rolling and tile-placing as the main game mechanic, the basic rules are not hard to follow and can be a barrel of laughs for any group of friends looking for a short and simple light-hearted board game.
