‘The Reborn’ - Bases and Shoulder Pad Insignia
Bases were coated with Dark Angels Green and adorned with GW alien foliage and then flocked with a home-made brew and PVA glue.
I’ve deliberately chosen this vibrant green because I’ve got in mind to incorporate these guys into an Armies on Parade jungle-themed diorama board to accompany miniatures from other projects of mine. 
Just the shoulder pad insignia to do before the photo shoot…Using a 0.1 Staedtler pigment liner I did a rough sketch of the skeleton black bird and then attempted to replicate this on the shoulder and pads (and Icon Bearer’s tabard). I started with the Anointed One and it got better (I think) by the time I finished with the Meltagunner.
