So the assembly is pretty straight forward and not much mold lines or anything to take care of. I use gel super glue to assemble everything. After that I primed everything with Army Painter Uniform Grey (rattle can).

Thanks to 32°C outside everything was dry in minutes. So maybe I’ll get to paint tonight.

Step 2: Washes and details

Since there isn’t much detail on the models I just picked up some of the switches and levers and added some washes. Sadly the colour of the camera is a bit down. I’ll try again with another lighting so the colours will be more vibrant.  Enjoy the pictures

Step 3: more details, washes and drybrushing

So adding some colour variations here and there, drybrushing and then touching up details and some more washes. I’m still unable to get the colours on the images right. the orange and red buttons are much brighter in real life.

Step 4: bases, matt varnish and some glossy varnish highlights

[Rant: Damn it! BoW killed the first draft… now to write it all again…]

Final steps:

paint all bases black to make them look good on all tables, be it a kitchen table, a gaming mat or a full blown gaming table with terrain and all.

After that a coat of matt varnish and some highlights on lights and switches with gloss varnish.
