About the Project
After picking up Star Wars Legion and paying a few Tatooine desert games I think it's time to think about some of the other worlds that can be done and create some terrain or adapt some from other games for use in a galaxy far far away.

224 armoured division on mimban
The best bit of the Solo movie is the section on Mimban which I think is a nice alternative to the usual Starwars minis that i have 3D printed. Mudtroopers look great compared to stormtroopers and I have printed off a couple of squads who look battle hardened and down and dirty.
Mimbanese Liberation Army
The best thing about the Solo movie was the glimpse into the battle of Mimban. STL files can be foundf for minis to match this conflict and Ive printed some from Skullforge and Darkfire designs to cover this conflict. I like the idea of doing an alternative starwars which is muddy trench style warfare and Mud troopers. Something a bit gritty looking and dirty with no pristine white armour.
A rule system that has these guys popping up from secret tunnels and vanishing again would be a good idea.
Ewok Reinforcements
A bit late for the birthday game but some good alternative Ewoks from skullforge 3D printing. Love the glider and the looted weapons 
May the 4th Battle report
Scenario one was bottleneck from Xenos Rampant. Both sides have to chaim the mouse droid in the centre corridor by games end. 
Stormtroopers pile down the corridor towards the small band of heroes
Han solo hangs back while the commandos attempt the claim the prize but are eventually driven back and destroyed. Meanwhile Chewie goes on a berserker rampage chasing off two stormtrooper units before being driven back by blaster fire. At the game end both forces claim the target but thanks to the destruction of the Commandos the imperials win by 1 point
Scenario 2the battle of Endor Drift. The empire is evacuating but has to hold out for as long as possible against waves of Ewoks. Each turn I added some random events such as Ewok traps and fly by tie fighter attacks 
Ewoks try and close with the enemy but are shot down. One random event sees Chewie swing in to hijack the waker. The Ewoks think maybe things are about to go there way but unfortunately the walker is taken down by combined fire before they had chance to use it.
Inferno squad deep strike into the Ewok village with the intention of taking out the Ewok catapult. Using spotters the Ewoks launch a large rock that crushes three members of the special forces unit. This causes the unit to pull back. A final small victory but the imperials evacuate with a solid lead over the local primitives.
Strangely some if the participants hadn't even seen Return of the Jedi. Just to make me feel even older on my birthday Bunker ready for May the fourth
Ready for Endor tomorrow. I decided not to paint the floor black to save time with the final pieces printed just today for tomorrow. After a grey spray I just added the white light areas. Nice imperial modular terrain

I based my trees to give defined areas of rough terrain. I enjoyed basing them up with various foliage. They should work well for fantasy tables or maybe North American warsMay the 4th prep
It's my birthday on May the 4th so a little tradihas sprung up where we get together for a starwars game. This year its Endor. The plan is to do two games. One is a battle against Ewoks and a second being the infiltration of the imperial bunker. I'm going to use Xenos Rampant rules because new players get confused with Legion with its many keywords and tokens all over the place.
I've found some suitably large trees to print with village.
