About the Project

I managed to pickup the Star Wars Legion Clone Wars boxed set recently for the boys, while teaching them how I'd paint them I thought why not film it like I've done with some other bits in the past. I thought that way they can refer back to it.

Getting the TX-130 Saber Tank on the battlefield

I painted up the TX-130 Saber Tank for the clone army, I was a little hesitant about how to paint him at first but I think he’s turned out really well.

I only used 7 paints to get him done!!

Base coat: Grey Seer Spray
Weapons: Black Templar (Some with a little Leadbelcher)
Red Detail: Mephison Red
Shade: Nuln Oil
Battle Damage: Corvus Black/Leadbelcher
Base: Corvus Black then Martian Ironearth

Painting a B1 Security Droid

I painted up a B1 Security droid from the Droid expansion pack, the security droid has a special rule so I wanted him to stand out for when I use the card in game.

I only used 7 paints to get him done!!

Base coat: Tamiya White Spray
Weapon: Corvus Black with highlight of Leadbelcher
Body: Contrast Skeleton Bone
Red Detail: Mephison Red with a shade of Nuln Oil
Base: Corvus Black then Martian Ironearth
