About the Project
With Deadzone 3.0 out it's about time for some reinforcements for my Forge Fathers. Most of these have been sitting in an unpainted/semi-painted state for some time now. Eventually this project will move from Deadzone through Firefight to Warpath with a bit of Stargrave in between. The key word is eventually as I intend to do other projects in between batches of this.

14 more get ready for March (part 1)
14 more Forge Fathers finished to tabletop standard. The same methods and colours were applied as the previous entries. These had been siting base coated for a couple of years.

Hellermal Pattern Iron Ancestor
Really struggled to get half decent photos, so these will have to do. The same painting method and scheme was used as the Forge Guard.
Thorgarim/Thorgarim Huscarle
This is a conversion using the hands and weapon from the old (much smaller) metal Thorgarim and the hard plastic Steel Warriors kit. It was painted using the same method and scheme as the Steel Warrior Missile Issilegarim.
Steel Warrior Missile Issligarim
The same paint and techniques were used on the Steel Warrior Missile Issligarim as Ingulf Kresturrson, but the original base coat/prime was different (see earlier post).
The cloth parts and gloves were a 50/50 glaze of Vallejo Glaze Medium and Green Grey (Vallejo Model Color), followed by Army Painter Strong Tone and dry brushed with Pale Sand (Vallejo Model Color).
