So, i started working on the walls. to start the planning I used 3d builder from microsoft. its fairly easy to use but the larger the file gets it really begins to chug. I will be finishing this floor section before i start on the mid section of the ship.

So last week and this i put together more of the ship. I think the 2nd portion really makes it take shape. due to the fact that one of the end sections has a cant upward I decided to use that as the engine half so that it can get a proper connections with the magnets that hold the hull together

still in the factory

So its been some time since i started this, but due to things happening in real life all my hobby got put to the side. I just didnt have it in me to do anything for a bit. Things are getting back to normal or as normal as life can be again. I had many parts printed for the second hull. I also started to design the upper portion of the ship, but right now I am starting to print out the interior and exterior of the ship that I know works

So took my work in progress to my club. got some feedback on what would work best with players. My original plan was to have the center hull have two outward facing domed decks. when one of my clubmates stated that it would hinder gameplay, i decided to add two more and have the domes on each of the corners. this will allow the player access to the center field and still have a great look (I hope) on the outside. also during the transport back home I had a structural malfunction, the ship broke at one of the joins. this allowed me to change where the supports were located for a better structure overall. as of right now it is fairly solid.

"Uh, had a slight weapons malfunction... but, uh, everything's perfectly alright now, we're fine, we're all... fine... here... now. Thank you. How are you?"

So with this ship I want to have some interior levels to make the space equal to 25inchs internally. I think this is the width of a kill team board. i have some ideas I put into tinkercad to see visually how things would look. So far I like what I see.

here comes the boat

So I am starting the new ship. here is a few pics of the ship in progress. I have had to cut the parts in tinkercad and ms 3d builder to fit on my printers. I then had to glue them back to create the larger structure.
