About the Project
Cleaning my work and prep spaces as well as clearing some of the long waiting minis. This could mean painting them, putting them away, or even getting rid of some. I really want to get my horizontal spaces back.

My Space Legomen Are Almost Awesome
After finishing the basic colors on both spacemen I got down to the details. Before weathering and aging the surfaces further, I needed to paint the Lego Space logo of a tiny ship breaking orbit. I pulled out one of my first generation Lego Minifigs and despite wearing a later helmet, his logo was clear and easy enough to start copying. After those were painted to my best ability I began weathering and aging everything. Bonus that this stage covers some of my onerous paint errors.
Everything Was Awesome and Still Is
So the undead Lego spacemen are painted, sealed, and assembled. Now they can drift through Lego Space, holding hands, well appendages, for all eternity. I’ve got them bubble wrapped, packed with my MCP minis, and already in the car waiting to go to KublaCon. I do hope folks like them. I find them charming and a little romantic but then I am a bit odd.
Probably my favorite part of cleaning my work area for the Spring Clean Challenge was finding these two guys.
