Ruins Of Symbaroum, the 5th Edition-styled take on the Dark Fantasy world of Symbaroum by Free League Publishing, is getting two awesome new books. Many, many adventures await!

Adventure Compendium - Ruins Of Symbaroum

Adventure Compendium // Ruins Of Symbaroum

First up, we're having a look at the Adventure Compendium which features seven adventures for heroes going from level one through to level eight.

"The Ruins of Symbaroum Adventure Compendium will invite you to everything from murder mysteries, to forest expeditions and witch hunts; set in cities, villages, and expanses of wilderness; treating you to encounters with darkminded cultists, roaring monstrosities, and raging abominations. Yes, the adventures of this tome do a great job of exemplifying the wide variety of stories that are waiting to be told in the world of Symbaroum."

Included within the Adventure Compendium, you'll find the seven adventures but also settlements from Symbaroum including Kastor, Ravenia and Prios Pass. There are also thirteen mystical artefacts and loads of colour maps to absorb. You've also got an introduction to the Young Gods and more.

If you want to take things to the next level (literally) then you can also pick up Call Of The Dark.

Call Of The Dark - Ruins Of Symbaroum

Call Of The Dark // Ruins Of Symbaroum

With this book, you're going to find adventures covering levels eight through to ten and they are two big chunky ones!

"In this book you will find two adventures that in different ways relate to the growing internal divisions within the Ambrian realm. Call of the Dark plays out in the northern territories of the Lost Land of Alberetor, where the player characters will accompany a lowborn noble who is looking to prove the status of her family. The second adventure, Retribution, initially deals with the search for a person who has gone missing in the city of Kurun, but is soon shown to involve events which may have serious consequences for the relationship between the peoples of the Davokar region. Naturally, the player characters have a chance to influence the outcome of the stories, provided that they handle all the challenges that stand between them and a happy ending."

This book features the two adventures but also an exploration of the Alberian Barony of Sarli and the city of Kurun. You'll also find lots of additional guides to locations where you can eat, trade, sleep, gather information and visit the local authorities. There are four additional colour maps and more artefacts to gather.

Both of these books require you to have the Ruins Of Symbaroum Core Setting Books, the Player’s Guide, Gamemaster’s Guide and Bestiary but should have you diving into the wondrously Dark Fantasy world of Symbaroum in no time.

Will you be snapping these up?

"Many, many adventures await!"
