There are going to be two books coming out which will allow you to play as champions from the different Grand Alliances within the world of Age Of Sigmar. Champions Of Death and Champions Of Destruction are both going to be arriving in PDF later on this year.

Champions Of Death

In Champions Of Death, you'll get the chance to play as Vampires, Ghouls, Wraiths and Wights who are serving as heroes under the sway of Nagash as he seeks to undermine the plans of Sigmar. This means new Archetypes like the Abhorrant Ghoul, Necromancer, Knight of Shrouds, Mortisan Soulshaper and more.

Whilst you might want to play a servant of Nagash, you could also dive into the rules allowing you to play as a Soulbound! Perhaps you have had enough of Nagash and his whims and seek to atone for a terrible past?

Champions Of Destruction

You will also be able to pick up Champions Of Destruction and play as new Archetypes like a Fungoid Cave Shaman, Orruk Brute, Wurrgog Prophet or Ogor Firebelly who serve their terrifying gods like Gorkamorka.

Much like with the Death book, you'll be able to play these characters as heroes (or villains) of their own gods or as Soulbound who have been lashed to the will of others for some purpose that they are yet to divine. As Cubicle 7 put it, as long as you can fight and smash stuff then it's probably enough of a reason to get involved!

Blackened Earth Campaign

The second campaign is also coming up later this year called Blackened Earth. This adventure will take you to Greywater Fastness in Ghyran as you explore the foundries and workshops of this smog-ridden city. You find yourselves sitting in between two factions of Order who are on the brink of war.

You'll be having to ask hard questions of your heroes and let them work out what they'd be willing to pay to keep the peace. I do like providing my heroes with hard questions to answer in my roleplaying games so this sounds grand!

All of this will be dropping towards the second half of the year so watch out for more previews in the coming months!
