Get ready for an unexpected journey of your own, the newest edition of The One Ring RPG from Free League Publishing. After an incredibly successful Kickstarter campaign, the Starter Set and Loremaster's Screen are heading over to retail in the first month of 2022.

The One Ring - Starter Set

Starter Set // The One Ring RPG

If you are anything like myself and Ben, tempted by the lands that span across Middle-Earth. From the tips of Mount Gundabad up to the Gates of Mordor, players can prepare for their own unexpected journey.

Coming to retail is The One Ring: Starter Set and the Loremaster's Screen, both equipping The One Ring fans with everything they need to get immersed into the RPG.

The Starter Set includes three whole volumes of valuable gameplay information and rules to set off into the dangers that lurk within Mirkwood. Plus, there's no way you are going to get lost. Adding maps to the starter set, and 8 pre-generated characters for you to immediately get up and go into the wide fantasy world. There are also bespoke dice d12 and d6 dice, and plenty of cards to keep you immersed, roughly retailing at about £35-40. Depending on where you go!

The maps that are included in the box contain detailed maps of both the Shire and Eriador - meaning the first campaigns contained within the Starter Set should not take us too far a-wandering... yet.

The Loremaster Screen is also going to be available for retail in January too. Being designed in three different sections at 3mm thickness. No player will be taking a peek behind this screen, measuring 855 x 216mm when unfolded - this beast has secrets of the elves contained. Including a short compendium of Rivendell.

If you were lucky enough to back the Kickstarter or even head over to Pledge Manager, you may be lucky enough to be receiving yours now, and there are a good few online retailers with their pre-orders up already. So if you were keen on heading into the visionaries of J. R. R. Tolkein - be sure to take a look at the new edition from Free League Publishing.
