Space Marine Demo Date Set

Fancy playing through Space Marine before its release to check it out? Now you have the chance.
On the 23rd of August the Space Marine demo will launch on Xbox 360 and PC with the Playstaion 3 demo a day later on the 24th and feature two sequences from the game.
The first pits you against the Ork hordes with a myriad of weapons to try out in front of a munition factory. The second half sees you taking to the skies with jet pack and melee weapons in hand.
You can get early access to the demo (a day earlier) if you pre-ordered the game through Steam on the PC, or if you sign up to the Space Marine Honour Guard through the website itself.
Will you all be indulging in the Space Marine demo?
Woot. I am just hoping that the IP is shown in a new light to a bunch of new people. That and taking a raptor to multiplayer is going to be fun.
i’m already an honour guard member, and can’t wait for this game 🙂 anyone else gunna get it for the 360?
Yeah def getting it for the 360, the xbox live community is much better than the others.
360 will be my port of call – don’t have a laptop powerful enough for most modern games, heck…any of them lol. And I don’t own a PS3.

i played through kill team will every character in anticipation for space marine…now that the demo’s coming, i can finaly indulge my inner astarte.
I was about to boot up my 360 just now to play Kill Team and the damn thing has just crashed and burned on me…utter wipe out for my ye oldy console. Think I am going to have to come up with a way of funding a new one in time for Space Marine.

I’ll be playing on 360 as well. I just don’t seem to game on PC like I used to. There’s one game that might bring me back to PC gaming ( Planetside Next ) but I’ll have to wait and see.
think i should set up a bests of war custom game on day of release? what with every one apparently getting it for 360? i saw in the video with the armour customization that you can do it. if this gets enough thumbs up i’ll start a forum topic for it and make it official.

Now I’m confused. Another website states that steam pre-orderers will get the demo already on the 18th, which would be almost a week earlier. Sounds to good to be true tbh, but lets hope for the best
Just double checked their official site .. users of pre-ordered it on steam really get access on the 18th!
