Off the back of their Gamefound campaign for Ascending Fate, the folks at Freebooter Miniatures are coming very close to releasing their Sci-Fi skirmish wargame, Ascending Fate. It will be available officially from 4th December 2025!

Ascending Fate is their dice-less Sci-Fi skirmish game. It builds off the innovation of the Freebooter's Fate miniatures game with card-based mechanics and a poker-style game where you can get in-depth when it comes to hit locations. Ascending Fate - Starter Set Scenario
If you're looking to get started, there is a great Starter Box that comes with loads of miniatures and more to get you going in Ascending Fate.

This set comes with miniatures for crews under the command of Natalie Wu and Gordon Freep. You will get the two crews with five miniatures each, your full rules and a beginner campaign so you can learn as you play.

Alongside the Starter Set, you will also get access to loads of the expanded crews for Ascending Fate, including the raiding Arvingar.

Considered Freebooters Fate in the past, but not that easy to find here. Do like the two starter gangs and seems a decent amount of stuff in the box for the money. All depends if it is available in the UK as I’m not importing from eu.
