Previously the line-up of World War II buildings from Plast Craft have been in 15 and 20mm, designed for games like Flames of War for example. Their new raft of cool looking pieces however are scaled up to 28mm and are looking awesome, perfect for Bolt Action and more!

Above you can see what all the different buildings look like and yes, you will be getting a big warehouse in the line-up! I love the look of the houses and I think the detailing on the brick work and such is an awesome boon. But, that's not all. You can look inside all of these buildings!

As you can see the various floors are detailed with wooden levels and you even get some cool staircases within too. This is great for use in skirmish scenarios and such where your troops need to take control of certain levels of a building. The roof of the Warehouse also comes off showing it's cavernous insides. I'd say that's perfect for a centrepiece in the middle of the battlefield and well worth filling with scatter terrain.

EWAR Buildings (Extra Ruins)

But the fun doesn't stop there. Each of the houses has a 'Ruin' footprint which you can see above as a base meaning that when you've blasted apart the building or just want to create some different looking play spaces then you can pop them off and just leave them as blasted out cover. It would be cool to have a huge 6x4 table where some of it is ruins and the rest is still untouched by the war.

The range of buildings from Plast Craft is growing and looking great to us. We've really been in the World War II and Bolt Action mode right now and fighting a lot of battles in 28mm so these would be perfect. I like that each of the houses is a different design too meaning that you don't have a lot of carbon copy dwellings on the tabletop.

We're assuming this is the same PVC material that we've seen from Plast Craft in the past and that's no bad thing. They've made great leaps and strides with this stuff and it's very good indeed.

What do you think?
