Revealing Our Arnhem Bridge Build! A Bridge Too Far For Chain Of Command
April 20, 2025 by brennon
John reveals our finished Arnhem Bridge build that we put together for some of our community members so they could dive into some World War II games of Chain Of Command, running an epic Bridge Too Far scenario. We think the finished piece is quite impressive!
Watch Our Original Plan VLOG
The process that John went through involved a lot of alignment of different components, plenty of glue, lots of filing and sanding and a few swear words! But, once the paint went down on the bridge we think it turned into an impressive terrain piece.
We think it turned out nice, nine out of ten gamers agree!

Serious games? At OTT? That’s a good one 😉
it was very serious at the bridge end, myself and Bob just went for carnage 🙂
Nice job John, by the way I was watching a show about Arnhem on WW2TV on you-tube and it comes to pass the Girders had not been painted the grey colour they were still the undercoat/ primer colour of Red, i thought crap i better tell John….ooops bit late, sorry mate.
Thank you so much for all your and Warren’s support and hard work, we had a brilliant time gaming across it over the weekend
Son of a Bridge … they’re doing the bridge near Son one too ?
It’s not exactly within walking distance of Arnhem 😉
It’s only 37.7km – that’s a strong one day march. I did Juno Beach to Falaise in 2016, at an easy 25km a day, in four days. Five hours of walking a day, leaving time to see stuff.
No fighting though…
Great work. Imagine what wonders John could do with Imperial Rome? Lloyd’s never gonna build it.
A fantastic effort from John to create this, it was a very enjoyable weekend, and the Bridge worked perfectly.
What a weekend and amazing tables, thanks lads for all your hard work.
Great gaming was had 🙂
The bridge game table is looking fantastic John an a great video
