A New Character Joins the Battles of Lord Inquisitor
September 8, 2014 by dracs
Progress continues with the fan made Warhammer 40k film The Lord Inquisitor as an interesting new character begins to take shape.
This is the first female character we have seen appear in this project. Given her choice of clothing and the sword she will apparently be carrying, I think it's a safe bet to say she is an assassin, either a Death Cult member or one of the Callidus Temple. This is really exciting, as the assassins are one of the most mysterious, and therefore interesting, parts of the Imperium.
Still, The Lord Inquisitor isn't just focused on the deeds of a few warriors. It also includes some massive ships!
This clip is still a a WiP, but I think you will agree that it is looking truly epic in scale, with a superb level of detail already picked out on the individual fleet ships. If the rest of the film matches up to the scale of things we are seeing here I will be very happy.
How do you think The Lord Inquisitor is coming along?

As an aside, I have seen a few non-GW sculpts that would make good female Vindicare Assassins (a couple of the less sexualised Infinity snipers spring to mind) and the Horus heresy novel Nemesis had an interesting depiction of a female… Read more »
