Games Workshop recently put forth a new idea (well, an old idea but new for them). You can now pick up Warhammer Supply Drops every-so-often from their webstore which are themed to a specific range and give you a discount based on buying the kits and accessories individually.

Currently, the first ones they have done for both the Imperium and Warhammer Underworlds are both sold out (no surprise there). Coming in at £75 each you've got to imagine that they include a fair few miniatures but also maybe paints and other accessories too. Either way, they have assured folks that whatever you get in the set will be focused towards the game in question.

Whilst it seems like many folks have missed out this time I would imagine we're going to be seeing more of these pop up each month. It seems like a good way for Games Workshop to get rid of some stock that they don't really want to hold onto anymore but I will reserve judgement until I see someone crack it open and have a look at what's inside.

As they mention in their article for this, perhaps this will be the way that you get started on a new army or warband? If you're already a big collector of any of their games then this might not be exactly what you need but it might give you a chance to paint up something different or maybe send off some figures to a friend.

Are you tempted by this idea from Games Workshop and did you manage to get hold of a Supply Drop?
