Relic Knights Unboxing: Austrican The Ogre & Isabeau Durand
April 4, 2017 by dignity
We unbox a Shattered Sword duo for Relic Knights who can be placed at the extreme ends of the size scale but are both equally important in their own unique way, Austrican the Ogre & Isabeau Durand.
Austrican has his mighty hammer, the Divine Crater, to sweep aside foes with brute force whilst Isabeau tends to fallen allies and purifies the ground around her.
Also discover if mythical hammer knowledge and the great console war of the 1990's breaks apart John and Justin's friendship?!?
How have you played this duo in Relic Knights?

Justin the cross sword symbols is guard it deal no damage and she can press blessed blade by spending 2 blue and 1 green to guard against overcharge action
Great unboxing. Really enjoy John and Justins chatter.
I thought @dignity was saying “Meal Near” while holding Austrican’s hammer. So I thought it was some sort of ogre related joke. I didn’t give it a second thought. 😀
Great unboxing, lovely figures! They remind me of an anime i watched a couple of years ago, but i cant put a name on it..
Every time i hear the name of Thor’s hammer in English it sounds wrong to me 😉 Mjølner as we pronouce it her in Denmark, It sounds better too me 😉
Nice to see these miniatures being shown, although it seems a strange time to do it when there will be no more restocks of this pack from Ninja Division; what retailers have in now is all you will see until these are redone in resin. Would have been better to wait and redo the video with resins I feel. But releasing it at this time really says “we’ve had this video hanging around for almost a year and thought we might as well show it as not.” Unboxings of plastic miniatures without context information (i.e. they’re all being resculpted or at least turned into resin) isn’t really that helpful.
In addition, while it’s nice to see this video, I don’t see the point of elongating it to have two people who don’t know the game discussing the tactics you might use with these models on the table. It’s okay to say you just don’t know and focus on the miniature build. A quick 5 minute read of the book would have given you interesting background info you could relate if you were looking to hit a certain length. I suspect this was filmed before @dignity had really played, and he’d be in a better position to talk about them now. Sorry to be a downer, but had this been shown a year ago it would have been much more welcome.
a lion ogre? nice.
