Here's the one that you veteran Infinity players have been waiting for as we take a look at and discuss the new trooper profiles plus the Sectorial Army List for the new USAriadna force.

One heck of a biker. Shame the Devil Dogs work against the same limit as Cameronians and other Dog Faces though – understandable, but a shame.
Been on the fence with Infinity but I’m starting to think I need some of these minis and there is already a group in my area so bonus.

The anime style of this game is really pulling me in. The fact that I am a horrible painter and the minis are metal is holding me back… trying to resist…..
To me, the older models are a little ‘to’ anime, ( and I love anime ) but the releases of the past year and a bit have the anime to realistic percentages spot on. 🙂
It’s all about the practice. Everybody has to start somewhere. 🙂
Mavericks are scary!
Am I missing something or do they only have 1 engineer option that is AVA1?
Yup, just the one dozer (to allow you to bring the tractors) I think it is a good balance to limit specialists for these guys, they are pretty deadly in terms of raw attrition.
Probably yes, but we don’t know anything about Blackjacks or Desperados. There is a Moblot Engineer profile in FRRM, so why not a Blackjack eng?
I’ll be honest the profiles mean nothing to me since I don’t know the rules of the game for toffee. Still any video with Carlos is worth a watch.

I have a tonne of Infinity figures that i’ve bought over the last 12 months but I don’t have a clue how good they are in game. I just like the awesome minis. lol
It doesn’t really matter how good they are. Just get stuck in and have fun. Because of the ARO mechanic anything can die at any time. Quite often a lucky shot from a line infantryman takes out a heavily armoured specialist. How you place troops is more important than what troops you place.
They are awesome for sure 🙂

Interesting comparing the mauraders to the Bagh Mari, very similar profile but with a little twist. One thing is for sure with US Ariadna: They might have badass armor, but their lack of BTS will be a big disadvantage against viral weapons, and with access to breaker pistols for a lot of troops they shouldn’t be too hard to find.
The low BTS is a bit of a problem, but a surprising number of Ariadna troops have the characteristic Non-Hackable. The remainder of the problem is a matter of either staying clear of the weapon or closing the range and ending them in close combat.
Damn, I’m just loving everything in this army.

I missed this one the day it came out. One of the most useful videos so far, and the additional cleaned up profiles and IMG’s instead of trying to interpret Spanish. Mucho gusto.

Interesting faction. Low point cost and plenty of tactical possibilities. Very, very, interesting! Those dog warriors and antipodes teams are scary. I’m lost for words…

These stats are all a bit complex for me as I still have to get into the game system, but there certainly seems like some interesting an exciting stats here. I love the excitement and enthusiasm that Carlos and Killian put into these reviews, like two kids in candy store.

Good stats. Bit on the expensive side but that has been said in the videos before. It’s compensated with heavier armor all around. I think this sectorial has a good potential.
I’m also interested to see other units seen in the last picture. Can’t wait to see their stats.

Literally just played the first scenario from operation icestorm, it was fast, I think we got a couple bits wrong, and I can see some things I’m not so keen on, but that might be because we were only playing with three basic troops each. I hate metal mini’s generally, these ones are pretty nice but with a crap-ton of flash on them. Not a starter set for the novice!
Really want to get into this game. Loved following the Infinity boot camp.

The Mavericks are awesome msv + arm3(the highest biker armor value in the game) +forward observer makes them the perfect camo hunter and all that for only 19 pts looks a bit unbalanced to me. I have mixed feelings the marine dog-warrior seems good and cheaper than the regular dog-warriors and with better armor, but it is still a very expensive model for the Ariadna force and taking another bike instead of him may be a better option, both units serve totally different purposes, and having a little bit of crazzy rushing down the nearest foe could be a good thing but with the devil dogs being impetuous it may make them go in bad situations while the mavericks are relatively safe unit that can flank the enemy in turn one. The marauders on the other hand are good value for their price and the ability to become second fire team makes them invaluable for the US Ariadna force and everyone “favorite” its scenario biotechvore which could be a bane for slow troops. The marauders high price, and not that much higher stats than a grunt, may keep a lot of players from doing second 5 man link team, but the ability to move 2 units without wasting command tokes is worth it in my book not to mention their price may be high for Ariadna but it is average for MI in the other armies.
I’m really digging this army. Might have to collect this one besides my Japanese Sectorial and Nomads!

It says u can’t field more than 2 dog warriors in an army but availability is 3. So does it mean there’s coming to be a character?
You can’t field more than 2 Dog-warriors in a vanilla list, where Devil Dogs have an AVA of 1. I assume there is no such restriction for the sectorial, where they have an AVA of 3.
I like the shown profiles.

Carlos fighting against America is not afraid especially of Rangers, he abuses them, for breakfast, four of them, simultaneously.
I hope there will be a devil team that is closer to the cover art. The one of the box is more static and I hear crocodile dundees voice: “That is not a knife,… This is a knife!”
Well it seems I’ll be able to do an vanilla army with Duroc (Equipe Mirage-5 Dog-Warrior) since he doesn’t count for the AVA of Dog-Warriors, along a Dogface or a Cameronian, an camouflaged Assault Pack of Antipodes, with them an Devil Dog Teams, McMurrough and a line Kazak liutenent for a Werewolf All Out gang Army.

Absolutely living the tough and powerful stats on these guys. I personally love the look and feel of the Hardcases, they kinda look like The Crocodile Hunter with a bow.
i don’t think that i will go for a sectorial (I’m waiting for Kazaks to do that) but both Marauders and Mavericks feel really useful
Not that interested in profiles. CB rightly advertises Infinity as a game without ‘must have’-choices; literally any unit has its values, but that’s depending on tasks. So I find all the fuss about new ‘killer’ profiles slightly misleading.

I really had no interest in playing Ariadna until seeing this list come out. I was Nomads all the way. Now I may need 2 factions.

Did anyone else notice the bike is 8-4 mov is that a misprint? I think the marauders haris team should be a nasty piece of work, but the Sekban is and they are pretty similar.
The Devil Dogs look fantastic! Nothing better then charging an enemy knowing you have total immunity, 2 wounds and an antipode to boot! Look for the devil dogs to enter your nightmares soon boys and girls!

I’ve just started infinity and code Ariadna before knowing about this release but I am so glad it’s here the models are so nice and the comment about the “Apache” style models, would love to see these pop up as an alternative hardcases

Wow mavericks are pretty crazy, I don’t see many people use bikers (Haqq, Aleph, Yojimbo, or Yujing), but it seems worth taking at least one maverick for that point cost.
You guys and Corvus Belli are making this week a very hard week to be sticking to a budget.
It’s nice to see another quality all-in-one Infinity set.

Actually If I recall from the demo game, the means after you compare the CC values, that Dog Warrior Marine would likely be hitting most people on 9 or more? Right.. 🙂

This looks like a really fun army to play! It might be a slightly more expensive army (Ariadna-wise anyway), but that just means that you don’t need to buy as many models to have a decent army.

I love to see stat charts for different options for unit equipment. This allows tweaking of each unit in the game to aid game play.
