Revel In Cthulhu Weirdness With Chaosium + Win A Prize!

Cthulhu is sometimes hard to get into, what with all the weirdness, so this company, Chaosium, are looking to get you into the mix with a whole bunch of sourcebooks and more.

You could actually win yourself a H.P. Lovecraft For Beginners book which would be perfect for those just starting out.

gunj4ck

Love me some rpg and I don’t have enough Cthlhu in my life. I like the idea of pulp cthlhu, my group seems to be much more on board with ffg’s twke on the theme and this seems to be on the same concept

curlyandcandid

This would be a great one to introduce to our gaming group. Everyone loves a bit of Cthulhu!

panzertanker64

Nice a beginner guide

we4re6eek

All hail the Lord of Waters Deep

daegren

The beginner guide is a great idea for the new edition.

astralwraith

Like the idea of a Beginners book for keepers – it’s always hard taking that 1st step from playing a game to running it & the more help the better.

As for the HP Lovecraft for beginners guide it just looks awesome

tchrin

There can NEVER be too much Cthulhu themed stuff in the world (one of my cats is even called Cthulhu…the other is Grendel 🙂

grodd1016

Pulp Cthuhlu sounds great

peas20

We love Lovecraft at my house! We have so many Mythos creature models. We play a lot of Strange Aeons.

swbeil

That’s perfect, you have to get them hooked young to really enjoy gaming.

dragosani

Was surprised to see the CoC rpg “Orient Express” box there today. I have the original from the 90’s tucked away in my garage and it was fantastic, had completely forgotten I had that and havent seen it in years. Unfortunately mine is a used copy with the 100’s of handouts already cut out and used so not pristine, but a blast from the past.

dragosani

may have been 80’s actually. I’m old and forget

tchatchet

I am looking forward to seeing what they have to show on Sunday.

tchatchet

a book for your elder god children…

somegeezer

Chaosium were a big name in my mid-20s. I love that they’re still going so strong!

creativehomeeducator

I’m new to rpg and to Lovecraft so this sounds perfect. A great idea – there are so many at UKGE it seems. Love the idea that long-time gamers and developers are still keen to spread the news and make gaming accessible to even newbies like me.

dane001

Ive never been near any of this stuff, it does look interesting. May have to have a closer look

crazycabo

Lovecraft’s work is great

jmrecoil

Awesome looking book.

hackareatech

Cthulu rpg, we are all doomed!

phoen31

dr. seuss…cathulu… yeah thats twisted.. i like it

brewer1980

So want that to read to my nephew.

anurak

Lovely books and illustrations. Of course, now we’ll have to be prepared for all the crazies who will scream “You want to turn my kid into a demonologist.” I’ll have so much fun teasing them.

tmon

Cthulhu book using Dr. Seuss art?

bigsylie

Who is Cthlhu?

redbread25

looks neat

bigbadbazz

Finally finished all Lovecrafts tales last year

lawnor

I want that book!

laughingboy

I feel if UK GE could have had a theme it would have been Cthulhu, lots of love for Lovecraft over the weekend

dragonrelic

Cthulhu FTW!

sbushert

I just finished reading The Call of Cthulhu. I must own that book!

tachycardia

Huge fan of CoC. Nothing like that growing sense of foreboding as you uncover mythos secrets, culminating in the revelation of unspeakable horrors, in the face of which you are completely helpless anyway, leaving you with the sense that nothing you can do, or have ever done is worthwhile…

Fun times. Lol.

blackspiral

Pulp Cthulhu is interesting. I love CoC so this is a great extension.

spaderfish

Here we are on day two. I’m still taking a stab at trying to win so forgive this shameless post as I’m going after either the 4Ground stuff or the Bushido stuff. I play Bushido here in the states. I teach it to whoever will listen, and I just try and represent it as it is. The best miniature game I’ve played.

marktarver

Not into Cthulhu but really like the quality of product and art work.

msaav002

<3 Cthulhu.

gobbo

Very Nice!

shankhamster

I remember playing Call of Cthulhu back in the 80s. Maybe it’s time to step back into the madness?

otakugirl

Supercool!

tachycardia

Pulp Cthulhu sounds like an interesting variant.

Isn’t half the fun though knowing that your characters are useless against the horrors that await them?

greaper

Nice i can already hear the screams.

rgreenparadox

Reading Cthulu to children seems so so wrong somehow. I imagine Taliesin Jaffe reading this to his children some day, right after green eggs and ham.

zoidpinhead

This ‘early reader’ style book is a great idea. Perfect present for Christmas. My RPG-DMing son would love it. Well done Chaosium.

comoran

The My First Cthulhu book was also a good beginners guide

longshotte

I used to play Runequest and it was a blast. There isn’t anything that is H.P. Lovecraft that is not good.

ericridley

I feel the tentacles of salesmanship creeping up around my ankles and knees. Must buy Cthulhu stuff…

kadmon

Awesome looking product.

rayzryr

Love it! 😀

szuhayeva

This looks fantastic!

thisisazrael

I have always struggled to really get into the Lovecraft lore but these look like really engaging books to get into the settings.

jakab

This was a great show!

voyager

Cthulhu book for children… terrific idea! 🙂

elysium64

Got 7th edition, and I really like how it reads, not run a game yet, think I might have to get the scenario book for beginning keepers.

warfield

Interesting show!

while

Haha! That book looks ace!

baranora

Great game!

angelicdespot

Looks good to me. Would love to play a Cthulu RPG again.

megsmith

Great work, Chaosium!

harald0skald

This was fun!

szilona

This sure looks great!

harigeri
