Prodos Games has been showing off what's coming for the future of AvP and Warzone.
They have some new models worth taking a look at AND you can also win with some competition goodies of AvP Second Edition & Exclusive Expo Mini.

It is a system I do not own however that aircraft looks fabulous! The prize is amazing just the box to store the miniatures is great!

I’ve got the first edition but haven’t had a chance to play it yet. So many games so little time.
AvP 2nd Ed as a prize that’s cool. I prefer the new sculpts with a base over the origional, I missed the KS on that one.
One of the best looking minatures at the expo so tempting and the dropship was so nice.

Prodos makes some awesome miniatures. I finally took the plunge this week and got myself the Power Loader and the set of 3 predators. Now I only need the core game!
Im sort of torn in 2 in regards to prodos, I love Avp but only ever received half of my kickstarter pledge which makes me cautious about buying the full game. One of the things I am missing is the rule book and if that isnt ready how is anyone playing the game. The minatures are beautiful though I do have an issue with my alien queen being to top heavy and trying to do the limbo (I have straightened her twice and am now going to change how and where her weight is supported. I do how ever like the fact that the minatures in the 2nd edition are now one piece. Any how I wont sweat it to much as at least I received half my kickstarter, thats more than some people.
I love AvP and it looks like they did a great job with it.
I cannot wait to get this game.

I still feel for Prodos taking all of the flak for the AvP kickstarter. I have a feeling it was far more Fox’s fault than Prodos’s.

Been tempted by AvP for a while, 2nd ed looks awesome. Love the foam in the box and those unicast minis look stunning.
Here we are on the third and final day. It’s been a long weekend but for anyone who attended apparently a fun one. However, since it is the final day then it’s my last chance to shamelessly post as I’m going after either the 4Ground stuff or the Bushido stuff. I play Bushido here in the states. I teach it to whoever will listen, and I just try and represent it as it is. The best miniature game I’ve ever played.

The single piece miniatures are a brilliant release with second edition. A friend of mine got the first edition and minis were beautiful but so fragile – unfortunately he to sell it and we only got to play it a couple of times but it was one of the best miniatures based boardgames I have ever played. Great to Prodos have made the miniatures more board game user friendly! Maybe I can convince him to get a new copy…

Aliens is my favorite franchise of all time. I have alien legendary encounters game but this looks amazing, would have loved to been there to try it out. I wonder if the box comes with the nice foam insert? Just as well i did not make it this year as i would of spent a fortune on stuff like this.

The single piece miniatures tech that Prodos seems like magic once you’ve seen a couple of videos on the standard techniques of producing miniatures. Even if i bought some Prodos minis I’m sure I would scour every miniatures for mold lines regardless. Old habits die hard. 🙂

Second edition does truly play much better than the original and works as a two player game as well as three player. Plus the models are gorgeous.

I do really like a lot of the AvP minis. Not sure how I’d paint Xenomorph slick skin. I’d need some kind of oily finish varnish?
