Jammy Dance!!! Wooo!
Happy Weekend, everyone! 🙂
Hurray a new weekender!
Happy Weekend. I’m off to Tiger day in minute in Bovington. Have to watch you guys later.
Balls pressed -1 to tank day. Fail sauce, sorry
No worries I had a great day
It’s the weekend!
@warzan May 7th I like how you collect everything on that date. Once again congratulations
Makes it easier for a moron like me to remember things lol
If only I had been so smart, I had to use the date as a pin code for a few years to remember. .. not any more should any one get ideas 😉
Hi guys…..yes I’m jumping around in my jammies….friends on Facebook told me about the prize lol….I don’t normally start the weekender until I’ve showered and settled down with a coffee…so iam in my jammies still lol….
If you could all go ahead and not comment on the Salute blog next year, that would be great lol. Congratulations to all the winners :). The G&G objectives were on sale at AdeptiCon. I was very tempted to pick them up for Relic Knights objectives.
It’s International Tabletop Day, what y’all got planned?
Happy weekend everybody, and I really look forward to seeing the results of Operation Flamestrike.
If you want to see the video screen in action, check out Dawn & Gianna’s interview with Powered Play on the AdeptiCon live blog.
Hello and goodmorning BoW crew. I would like to enter the Aether Captains competition however none of the city names in the answers are correctly spelled (according to the .pdf rulebook) so it’s a bit difficult to choose the right answer. Any suggestions?
#warzan Good Morning Warren! Laser-charging also works for wedding rings! Think about that next week!!! 😉
For all the rest of you: Enjoy your weekends and have a splendid hobby-time! I wish I had that new Deadzone here!!! That is so awesome. I just LOVE Mantic, they are such a wonderful company!

Chris
Warren allready congratulations with your wedding and happy honeymoon.
Deadzone 2.0 is looking very interesting. I will take some time to analyse the show more. Free rules Malifaux 2.0 rules is fantastic. I really love this game and this is a easy way to start playing for everybody. I think all need to check this game and understand why this game is so fantastic.
I am in love with Kritterkids miniatures. Asian small beasts. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles meet My Little Pony. It would be fantastic to paint these miniatures.
Talking Blood and Plunder Kickstarter – they have put up a rule through of the ship to ship combat system for the game …
Links in the historical forum if any one is interested
I can’t wait to watch the Deadzone demo game between Warren and Justin. I am looking forward to getting my copy in the mail.
congrats Warren 8).
I invested large into the first version of Deadzone but sadly haven’t really played it much. I like that they’re revisiting it and hope it finds new life, and am glad I can at the very least use all the figures and terrain I already have. Maybe. Some day.
Aether Captains and Blood & Plunder both look great, but having backed two KS campaigns this month I’m going to be strong and avert my eyes.
Dead zone has been in need of a new ruleset and a revamp for some time. This seems to be just what it has needed.
Great Weekender – Pirates – look up Bartholemew Roberts.
Ronnie IS Santa Claus, or at least that’s how it looks when he comes into the Studio – all those great toys and version 2 of a great game that also leads into Warpath.
Enjoy your big day Warzan!
Hope the weather’s good for Saturday, Warren.
Blood and Plunder’s looking awesome, been thinking of Pike and Shotte recently but I can’t help but think there could be applications for this in a different setting – the Anglo-Dutch wars, the Anglo-Spanish wars (from a European perspective – siege of Dunkirk for example, Parliament ships scrapping with Spanish pirates while the Anglo-French pike and shotte storm the trenches). At the very least I’ll be picking up a ship and a crew if just for painting/diorama or something. Would love to recreate the ECW second siege of Hull – Royalists under the Earl of Newcastle try and siege the city while two Parliament ships, the Lion and the Employment sail up and down the Humber ferrying supplies and men and cannonading any royalists stupid enough to get in range. This stuff is just looking great. The new mantic scenery too! I’m so tempted to build an over-run forgeworld of some kind and proxy the Mantic vermyn as orks, the Ad Mech trying to flush out the infestation to rescue some archeotech. Another great weekender lads!
I’m watching the show while painting my Project Z biker gang. Nice minis.
Deadzone 2 looking really good. Please please do the same to Dreadball. I still love Dreadball (have a mini-tournament due on Monday) but it just needs a bit of love, a spot of tidying up. Related: the new DZ terrain looks incredible!
Check out the interview Ronnie did on FamilyofGamers777 on YouTube the other day. He said Dreadball is up for the 2.0 makeover like Deadzone.
Ah belter. I’ll have a watch next painting session.
Another great start to my Saturday
Happy Weekend
Really excited for the new DZ rules.
Well…wonder how the show would have been with Warren sitting in “the other” chair ;-P
But really…all the best for next saturday Warren!!!
Thank you to BeastofWar and 4Ground on an incredible prize. I’ll post photos on it in the future.
Congratulations!
I’m actually really looking forward to Deadzone 2nd edition. As a backer of the original on kickstarter I can’t wait to see what the new rules will do
If nothing else I will have a reason to do some painting!
Man, it’s great to see @warzan back on a full episode of the Weekender. Don’t listen to these people, man! For every time we see a “too much Warren” comment, there will be an Oriskany avatar crying “Not Enough Warren!”
Congratulations on your big day coming up this week. Best wishes and “All Sixes” for this new chapter in your life. 😀
People complain about too much Warren? How can you have too much Warren?? Impossible!!!
Can’t like this post enough! I even got to have a brief chat with him at Salute. Just want to hug him
My allies have spoken! Oh, and @blackspiral … man, you must have beat me by ONE SECOND on the first post on the weekender. I was up at 1AM EST hitting the refresh button over and over, comment text already on my clipboard. Not usually my kind of stunt but I was up late anyway so I figured what the hell, lemme give it a try.
Oh well. Well-won, sir! 😀
LOL Just happen to be up at that time every Saturday! Next time it’s yours!
happy weekender
Happy Saturday! Thanks for another great show and Congrats to all the winners.
Happy Saturday! Those resin objectives are really nice but holy moly expensive. 70 GBP for the pack of six. Someday… someday….
What a timely Weekender- I literally just received my Deadzone 2.0 Kickstarter stuff this afternoon! Once I’ve finished painting my Guildball Butchers it’s on to Veer-Myn and Forge-Fathers, methinks…
Ben, any chance you could run a campaign for SAGA dark ages similar to the one Warzan and the rest have done for infinity? I rather like the idea of my Vikings conquering swathes of land!
love the Deadzone scenery 🙂
@dignity are you sure you wanted to yell out “I want to play with it” quite so enthusiastically? you’ll be lucky if there’s no dubstep remix of that one bud..
sounds like it would be funny as hell 🙂
that pirate mat might do for X-winging the Donegal coast or wherever the hell Luke Skywalker is hiding 🙂
Well done @warzan ! Yeah, the team is growing up. They can take care of themselves (and the shows) for a while.
Have fun next week.
Blood & Plunder is looking very good. It’s a shame I’m a bit short on gaming money at the moment. Maybe I’ll just pick up the rulebook. We’ll see.
But I’m going to have a ship or two one day.
hey guys loved the stuff about Deadzone 2.0 not a player of it but am now very peak about it.
Have a great weekend.
that Games and Gears stuff looks awesome

I remember GW tried some Planet-Strike objectives, but the Chinese factory vacuum formed them into mush…
wonder if I could turn them into 2D X-wing crash scenery?
Good show. Enjoyed the Deadzone and TWD stealth update! Now you’ve got me interested in Blood and Plunder again after I had talked myself out of it! Can I move in with one of you guys when I’m kicked out of the house?
I like the form for entries on the contest. I can’t imagine how you kept track of entries from FB, YT and here. Easier to enter, easier to track!
We need to set up refuge centres worldwide. .. For poor gamers who got in trouble on Kickstarter
pew pew… no seriously guys have a nice weekend
Also i really like 2nd edition Deadzone, it just overall appeals to me. I like the order dice mechanic in all its simplicity!
hello agin warren, good to see you alive! maxi mini just blown my mind! just wait and see for new game!
deadzone pre ordered after watching the vid! well done guys

Warren before I forget to tell you, hope you have a fantastic wedding my friend and best wishes to the wife to be and family.
Still waiting for that original idea Ronnie. But other than that lots of cool stuff out there.
Congratulations, Warren.
And I’m waiting on the Kickstarter to get here and will probably soon join you in the world of deadzone. It looks great.
Great weekender.
Deadzone version 2 looks cool and I’m looking forward to the battle report from Justin and Warren. The ton of terrain and the cool looking minis might tempt me into the world.
Glad to see the Walking Dead minis on show. Progress is always good and I’m really looking forward to the finished product as I backed this project.
I will check out the Malifaux download, because everyone seems to rave about the game and I’ve never looked at it before.
Pirate ships and models to die for, Blood and Plunder had better live up to the promise it shows. Please make a rule set that matches the awesome looking ships and miniatures. The storage for ships is a problem, but if the game is good enough I might find the room. The budget is thin but the will power is weak. The kickstarter with terrain options and stretch goals galore; it’s tough not to pledge.
Lloyd’s Palm trees look awesome and I’ll be making some of them for some Pacific bolt action fun. By all means see if you can find shortcuts or alternatives to speed up the build, but hobby time shouldn’t be a 2 minute task. Devoting time to terrain is fun, but if playing the game proves more important, then saving and spending on bought terrain would be the answer.
Flamestrike has been great fun to be involved in. I’ll try to get at least one more report in before the end of early May, but x-wing seems to be my son’s favourite game right now. I also need to get my box of Dungeon Saga opened as well. Role on the next Infinity campaign though.
Happy weekend everyone,
Looking forward to getting my Deadzone pledge and having
a go at the new rules. And congrats to my wife Jenzee for her Salute Viking win 😀 along with the other winners.
The Deadzone Enforcer troops look like they could work as First Order Stormtroopers as well. Especially the Flamethrower, and the Speeders could easily work as next generation of speeder. Looking forward to the Big vehicles coming from Warpath.
I’m really looking forward to Dark Age week.
The Deadzone 2.0 stuff looks great.
Congratulations to @warzan for next weekend!
Thanks to BoW and Renedra for the prize!
Ronnie and Mantic are doing a great job on Deadzone
I love Ronnie’s enthusiasm. I backed the Kritterkins kickstarter. I want the pirates. DAMN YOU AND YOUR SHINY OBJECTS OBLITERATING MY BUDGET!

Admittedly, 4grounds trees are a lot faster to set up.
Aether Captains looks cool.
DZ2 looks like a simplified version of an game that was already simple in the first place. & that’s not a good thing.
Blaster was here…
lol Justin you’re still on a building site, just a waaaaaay cooler one! Warren is Foreman and John is the apprentice who ends up doing most of the work haha
Deadzone 2 looks really cool. Gotta love the Enforcer jetbikes.
Blood and Plunder… so much want! You’d have to get all the ships, just don’t pay attention to the shipping fee, it’s ok, it’s all worth it
Aether Captains reminds me of Guns of Icarus. Anyone here play that? PC game.
Just need a Skycaptain Maxamillion Valentine!
Great Saturday guy`s, nice to see Warren back at the table.
Loving the look of Dead Zone 2.0, and the seeing the “Tank” i think that`s just gone on my birthday list……………….
Warren, thanks for the Flamestrike update and some of the comments about how the campaign is going to work out. It’s been a blast, especially some of the role play and the way the different theaters worked out. You play a campaign but not to win. Looking forward to seeing what battle reports make it into the lore. I think you’ll probably offend some who think rigidly about such things, as you didn’t give out specifics about the Historical AI or about Spygate. I love the glee you showed as you talked about the spying etc. though. I think it was a great campaign overall. Good on anyone involved. Thanks for everything!
BTW, I’m mbdeyes on the Infinity Forums, and Peregrin on Flamestrike.
Also, really loved the ‘wargammers lego’!
Definitely looking forward to the Deadzone demo
Steampunk + Pirates = AMAZING !!!!!!!!
Chrome cast this to the TV with a cup of coffee and I am in heaven.
Dead Zone looks great and so does the Aether Captains KS. I actually watched the videos for it.
deadzone 2.0 is looking good.
Happy marriage Warren!
