Publisher Upper Deck have announced that they will be releasing a series of 007 trading card games next year, and they are set to be more suave than Sean Connery seducing Pussy Galore.

Two products have been announced; spring 2019 will see the launch of a set of James Bond trading cards and, in Summer 2019, Upper Deck will also release a Legendary Deckbuilding Game.

In this Legendary release, avid Bond fans will re-live some of Bond's greatest movie moments, and cooperatively combine to recruit classic characters and thwart the schemes of some of Bond's most famous adversaries.  There will also be trading cards available through the Upper Deck e-pack platform.

Speaking about the announcement, Upper Deck president Jason Masherah stated:

“James Bond is one of the most iconic characters in the history of entertainment. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to provide a new and unique line of James Bond trading cards and trading card games to fans around the world.”

If you're a Bond fan, then this is definitely a card game worth purchasing, however, even those gamers not devoted to the franchise will enjoy blustering Blofeld or checkmating Le Chiffre. Until the official release, keen spies can keep up to date through the Upper Deck website.
