Cosmic Encounter Duel Tweaks A Board Game Classic

Cosmic Encounter Duel is a new game which builds on a board game classic. Fantasy Flight Games are now going to be pitting two players against each other in a challenge between two alien races on the tabletop.
This new take is a standalone experience for two players where you are racing to control five planets. It sounds simple but it will be throwing all sorts of spanners and gizmos into the works where your hidden tactics, unique alien abilities and more will be able to twist things to suit your plans.
If you're a fan of the original Cosmic Encounter and want to enjoy a game which focuses on the two-player experience then this could well be for you. It seems like they've kept the zany and quirky elements which made the original such an enjoyable experience for players and thrown some new options into the mix too.
