Planned for release later this year, Green Couch Games' Filler looks to be a nice simple game which will do just what it says; fill some time between your bigger games of an evening.

Filler - Johnathan Chaffer

"In Filler, players employ multi-use cards and a blend of simultaneous action selection, time and resource management, set-collection, and hand-building to collect ingredients needed to fill tasty pastries on their way to becoming the Star Baker."

In this era of Bake Off and Nailed It these kinds of games could be a nice way to get more people to the tabletop. It also shows that you can create a game out of pretty much anything!

Set Collection games are perfect for quick and easy tabletop encounters and I think this could have a nice charm to it. We're still a way off seeing this arrive on tabletops but keep an eye out for it. From some of the talk about the game, it could be one of those little brain teasers that have multiple routes to victory and more tactics involved than you think.

What are some of your favourite little games to break out with friends?
