Victorian Horror found it's way into a board game in a great new game on Kickstarter called Folklore: The Affliction by Twin Fire Productions.

Folklore itself is played as an adventure board game with an immersive RPG style feel, plenty of randomization and choice driven interaction.  Folklore also has the capacity for gamers to write their own adventures and add as much role playing as they like to the experience. The setting is our own fictional past, where your characters acquire Lore as they face and defeat the supernatural creatures known as Afflictions.  It's a cooperative game intended for 1-4 players without a GM.

If you are a fan of the Victorian feel games, then you'll love this one. The mini's are great and I love the opportunity to either play canned stories or create your own in the game.

Fancy creating your own lore to battle The Affliction?
