Sci-Fi Zombies Lurch Out Of Mantic Games For Deadzone!

Mantic Games are adding to the world of Deadzone with hordes of Sci-Fi Plague Zombies! They come in not only a massive Mega Set but also in a smaller twenty man (err...un-man?) box too!
The basic set looks like this...
- Multi-part kit
- Military options
- Scientist options
- Civilian options
- 20 25mm bases
- 1 Mantic Point
...and with the larger mega deal you get access to some Kings of War Ghoul and Zombie sprues with which to begin customising your legion of the damned.
As you can see it has some really cool options for making deadly zombies intent on sucking out your brains with a straw. Military, Civilian and Scientist options are in abundance so you could maybe even theme each zombie outbreak to whatever board you're playing on at the time. Fighting in an army base; make them all soldier zombies!

Didn’t they do this before with 35 ZOMBIE APOKALYPSE figures?
These have the added Military, Scientist & Civilian parts on the new sprue as an individual kit. The KoW Ghoul/Zombie stuff this time around is just if you want to embellish on the new sprues with something different.

Wish I’d have known about this the other day. I just ordered the old set from Wayland Games and it’s over a week or so late now because they are waiting on stock from Mantic!
Also, I did look at the Puppets War ‘ZOMBIE KORPS’ minis but they are £75 for 30 models! Shame that because they are absolutely stunning sculpts and would have suited my army perfectly. For mass zombies in a Death Guard Typhus List though? Just a bit too rich!
So this is more of an updated kit than really new. Good to see that they are willing to go back to the chalkboard and make kits better than before.
Nope, this is a completely new kit. The previous ones were KoW plastic zombie sprues with the corp restic(?) to do your own conversions. This is a dedicated sci fi zombie set that was funded from the deadzone kickstarter. 5 ‘man’ plastic sprues.
Much better than the previous offering which required quite a lot of cutting to work.
Damn! Now I want these sets and not the old one if it requires lots of chopping! Best get on to Wayland asap!
Great kit. I have the old zombies and ghouls from KoW. They look great and are an outstanding value. Can’t imagine anyone will be disappointed with these.
A good looking bunch of zombies there? (slight contradiction)
