Final Renders For Dawn’s Jezebel Miniature Revealed
November 20, 2015 by deltagamegirl22
This week I got a couple of truly exciting emails from Prodos Games as they made serious progress on my Jezebel miniature. After I turned Shane's amazing art over to them, I waited patiently to hear that they started work on the 3D sculpting. Early last week, I received the first look at her and I was beyond totally impressed!
I could not believe the level of detail they could capture from the art to bring into the sculpt- and this wasn't even the final version! The more I looked at her, the more I loved her, and literally the only thing I wasn't sure of was that from the back, it didn't quite look like she had pants on.
From the front, there was no doubt that she had tight pants on, but from the back...the paint job would have been necessary to tell.
Yes, I know some people (ahem, deaddave) prefer this version of her, but I wanted to KNOW she had clothes on below the waist. So I sent a quick message back to my very talented sculptor, Michal Hartlinski, who promptly sent me back an updated, more fully clothed, spectacular Jezebel.
Every day that I've had these pictures, I have noticed more and more detail. Check out the details on her corset (flying monkeys, inspired by my love for the Wizard of OZ and the Wicked Witch of the West)! Or her shoulder pad. Or her knee pads.
Or her wickedly awesome, steampunk arm and hand (which will be explained nicely in her backstory). Or her exquisite broom (all Shane)! You can totally see her amulet and necklace wrap around her and enter her neck. Her face is both beautiful and creepy, with those wide eyes calling for someone to paint them an eerie glow.
She's a wickedly wonderful, sexy badass and I CANNOT wait to see her in miniature form- which I'm told will be in only a couple of weeks! So, manpug, it won't be long and I can introduce you your very own Jezebel.
For anyone that has ever kicked around the idea of creating their own miniature, I encourage you to give it a shot! The fellows at Paranoid Miniatures were the masterminds behind this opportunity, as they connected me with their artist for Mythos, Shane Cook (who I can't say enough about!). Shane is an exceptional artist and was an absolute pleasure to work with.
Michal Hartlinski and Prodos have made the process of bringing artwork to life in a 3D form look easy and amazing and I'd work with them again in a heartbeat.
So for now, we wait. But soon, very soon, I will hold my own 32mm Jezebel miniature in my hand and will proudly share that moment with you!
Keep your eyes posted for the final post on Jezebel's creation, which will not only have her miniature but her back story as well. Until then let me know in the comments what you think of the work so far that's gone into Jezebel.
Comment below and tell us what you'd make as your own model!

Awesome looking mini, super happy for you Dawn and cannot wait to see her painted and threatening to bring mischief and magic to whatever game she features in 😉
I like those boots! 😀 And the claws on the extended hand. Definitely a trouble maker.
yes but they fit you @oriskany ?
(but will they fit) small mind fart their.
Wow awesome work from Prodos….wait is this the same Prodos Games that owes me my AvP game for over 2 yrs? Why are they coming out with more stuff spending assets when they could use that money to ship my stuff to me?
😉
Brother G
Well!! She turned out amazing. Do you have a studio lined up to paint her as well??? can’t wait to see what’s next!
This has definitely one of the most interesting articles that has graced your site thus far! ( and that’s saying something). It original and fascinating content liek this that makes this site stand out among the seas of other hobby news websites.
*slow clap*
Looking as good as the art so far
That cool. I like how they got around to doing the chain as it would have been thin if made like the concept art.
A brilliant figure reminds me of chiana from farscape but darker and more kickass.
What an amazing sculpt Dawn, you must be over the moon!!
Thanks, everyone! I am sooooooo excited! I can’t believe how fantastic she’s looking. 😀
She looks Awesome! Any chance that the rest of us will be able able to get our own Jezebel?
That’s a great transition from concept to 3D by the modeling peeps at Prodos. That’s certainly a creation I’d be proud if!
@motioninpoetry get your finger out, I want mine done lol
Still prefer the other version
Lol @deaddave
Yup, the sculpt has turned out fantastic, love the large claw like glove ( instrument of inflicting damage) and the translation of how the chain has been sculpted around the handle of the “broom”. Seeing some of the other resin minis prodos have been producing I’m sure the details will be very crisp and lovely to paint..
I want to paint a copy of that sculpt.
That is simply an amazing render. I envision her as the leader of her own Malifaux crew, possibly working for the Guild or as a mercenary crew with the Outcasts…
Cheers!
Very cool render, that miniature is going too look amazing!
That looks awesome I bet your extremely excited.
To answer your question about what I would have made… likely some OCs Lynia (avatar… no she is not an elf though has a lot of similarities to one. Big difference is her tails), and 4423 (a human clone created for war). Plus a dozen other ideas/characters but would like both of those first as I’m trying to write a story for fun on them.
Hah, yeah same here. If I start to list them all, I might find myself contacting Prodos for a quote lol. There’s my custom Warzone warlord, my X-Men character, my WFRP character..
I would totally buy this if she was made available… Any chance of that happening?
Sounds like I need to do some fact finding on prices for a run! I hadn’t explored that option. Hmmmmmmm
I too would like one of her for my collection. I even know a setting I’d use her in for one of my on going RPGs!
Would buy it one as well. Its an awesome looking model 🙂
Really cool looking model, also like the new version alot .. more detail without looking cluttered
Nice. A great character piece that I would love to paint.
Looks really nice, hope the reality matches the pics
Such a good mini!
Anyway, womens´ heels usually don´t end up good in miniatures, as they should be thinner, but then they become too fragile.
