The war in the East of Europe had turned critical for the Germans during 1944 and they were battling hard against the Soviets and the overwhelming amount of armour and soldiers that The Red Army could throw at them. Fighting erupted across the front lines and many of the German forces were set against a foe that was intent on destroying them. From Narva in the north, through Byelorussia where the Red Army wedge hit the hardest, down to Romania and Hungary, the German fought for every inch of ground.

This means that you're going to need a hefty fighting force to try and hold back the Soviet advance. Thankfully, a new Starter Set is in the mix for you to pick up which includes loads of pieces of armour.

This set is packed with all manner of tanks, big artillery pieces and specialised infantry options as well. When the Soviets were rolling all manner of big pieces of kit forward you would have needed something like this to hold the line.

These releases are going to be popping up in January and then into February and you can reinforce your German army with not just a bunch of new releases but some previous ones too.

You can check out all manner of neat miniatures for this Pre-Order over on their Preview Page. This seems like it could be a "fun" aspect of World War II to go and explore, especially since the Germans were on the backfoot and the tide was most certainly changing.
